Dr. Octagonapus is the main antagonist of Dominic Fera's Youtube series, The Lazer Collection. He is an overpowered and surprisingly-kick-ass parody of Doctor Octopus from Spider-Man, becoming one of the series' most iconic and popular reoccurring characters, where he is a dimwitted but intelligent and maniacal serial killer who abruptly channels massive amounts of energy from his mouth and kills people. He is also a scholar of the Council of Shoop, the former minion of Shoop Cell and the father of Randall Octagonapus.
He is voiced by Dom Fera himself, who voices many characters in the series.
Appearance[]
Dr. Octagonapus is deformed in parts, where his body is gray as well as his arms and legs with four light gray tentacles that are connected to his body and is wearing sunglasses. The only part of his body that retains his colors are his hair, which is ginger, a wide mouth and pupils as seen in one of the pictures in his house, showing how fearfully he is trying to get his sunglasses back from his son, with the reason for this being his insecurity without his sunglasses.
Biography[]
He is first seen in The Lazer Collection 1 on the sixth skit parodying a battle with Spider Man, where the latter mistakes him to be Alfred Molina, until he was shortly killed by Octagonapus.
He is seen again in the ninth skit of The Lazer Collection 2, where two men are talking about the second man's charging phone with an awkward pause, which Doctor Octagonapus says his iconic line before instantly incinerating the two people. Again in the next segment, he does the same to a boy who receives a letter from his uncle. However, he was instantly incinerated before he could start reading. Later, Dr. Octagonapus appears out of a sink as a man guesses the problem of the blockage. However, he quickly notices and overpowered him by punching him back into the drain in fear while saying "Oh God! Oh my God!" before blasting him away with his hands.
In The Lazer Collection 3, his actions led to the attention of the police attempting to apprehend him, which led to Randall, a hired rookie detective, being assigned to the case by a commissioner who cannot pronounce his last name, mentioning a string of deaths describing each crime with detailed and mixed reception due to a lack of witnesses being impossible to trace. Dr Octagonapus makes his appearance in the third skit, where he attempts to shoot his energy beam at a character parodying Aladdin, who mistakes him for a genie after coming out of said lamp, who interrupts his phrase sentence three times because he thinks he's his master, and attempts to try his first wish. Infuriated, he then lets out a curse by saying "DOCTOR OCTO-MOTHERFUCKING-GONAPUS!" before blasting him with energy. He appears in the next skit, where he magically bursts out of a young superhero, who is just beginning his crime-fighting career, as his body falls. Octagonapus lets out an energy beam towards the pavement and the dead body. Meanwhile, both Randall and the police commissioner appeared to examined the body lined out and surrounding the crowd, where Randall wonders if he was possible that he didn't manage to incinerate the body in particular, but remained intact. As Randal wonders, Dr Octagonapus creepily rises from both men as he smiles a wide smile with his mouth. Randall quickly notices and attempts to stop Octagonapus, who fires a laser before he could be questioned. Randall goes into pursuit over Octagonapus, who leaps with superhuman abilities, into the building of the scene, as Randal attempted to shoot at him, which he, himself, uses the same amount of boost and jumps on top of the building to confront the killer. However, he was unaware that he could jump so high, to which he was then quickly grasped by Octagonapus's tentacles and persuades to unleash his potential before dropping him out from the building and crashing into the pavement, to which he survives and swears to catch him. In the second half of the video, a brown haired man shakes a can as his friend gets off due to what's gonna happen. They then look at Dr. Octagonapus, who appeared to them and attempted to channel his beam at them, but was instantly knocked away from the scene by Randall, who managed to follow his whereabouts, where he cornered him towards a wall at gunpoint as Randall demands him to explain their differences, while a guy in a helicopter named Robbie pins a light and contacts Randall on a walkie-talkie, which he then reveals who the killer's real name is, before Randall stopped him, which Robbie came to realize the similarities, as revealed in Randall's wallet, seeing he is related to Octagonapus, his own father. Randall begins to grow identical tentacles as he came to terms with his powers with the persuasion by his father, who manipulates him into turning towards his side. As Octagonapus sees Randall using his powers to crash a car and killing a pedestrian with an energy beam, he then comes up to Randall and offers to mentor him to discover more about himself.
Dr Octagonapus makes a cameo in The Lazer Collection 4 being badly drawn as he blasts a guy with a guitar.
In The Lazer Collection 5, he is seen in the opening, showing how happy he is living with Randall, as they spend activities together (as seen with many pictures in their walls). Dr. Octagonapus begins to set up breakfast for his son in the kitchen, making a typical eggs and bacon dish. However, things fall shortly, as Randall comes downstairs behind him and greets him, which led to Octagonapus quickly and accidentally firing his beam at Randall, incinerating the top half of his body, without a second thought, leading to him saying "Oops". He is later seen piloting a giant robot and punching through the top building to confront a hobo and blasted him. He then appears again to confront a rude customer who complained over his steak, to which he dresses as a chef and berates him for his lack of gratefulness while adding that the steak is cooked in perfection and saying that he knows nothing about good food before blasting him with a beam. Next, he then tries to kill the Dirty Boy trying to playing a piano, but the object mockingly curses at him by calling him an ass, until Octagonapus came with his robot. However, before he can fire his laser, he realizes that he already killed him by accident due to one of the parts of the piano being lodged into his head. Octagonapus then seals the robot's door and runs away off-screen in fear, horror and remorse. He then meets his master, Shoop Cell, who strips his power and sends Octagonapus away from the Council of Shoop due to interfering with their grand plan involving the accidental murder of his son (Randall), which he realized and said "Oops" again.
Dr. Octagonapus makes his final appearance in The Lazer Collection 6 at the near end, where he now works as the performance stage's director, which he then accidentally kills a man preparing to practice playing his trombone with a piano, as he quickly rushes to the scene and apologizes remorsefully due to mentioning that he is new and has no hands moments before another piano crushes Octagonapus to death along with another man carrying a glass of water on a plate with another piano.

- Dr. Octagonapus has become a popular character, frequently used among many Youtube Poop Videos.
- In The Lazer Collection 6, Dr. Octoganpus became far less evil and more remorseful, seeing that he has a change of heart, it's also where he doesn't have his appendages (implying that his powers were taken away).
- In Lazer Collection 5 is the only video were Dr. Octagonapus is seen without his Glasses albeit briefly as shown in a picture in a fearful expression reaching out after Randall wore them, The reason for this is unknown.
