Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik is a minor antagonist of The Darkest Tale of Lorcan Darcy. He is a mad genius who is bent on world domination, and the arch-nemesis of Sonic the Hedgehog. He appeared as the main antagonist of "Chapter Seven: Past", and one of the two main antagonists of "Part Three: Sonic the Hedgehog and the Multiverse of Adventure", along with Amaya Hagins .
Like in the games, he is voiced by Mike Pollock.

Backstory[]
Between 2006 and 2011, Robotnik has the staff members of a morally corrupt, top-secret military think tank code-named "F.A.M.I.L.Y" to capture kids and train them to become child soldiers for world domination, one of them is his enemy, Lorcan Darcy. When she escapes in 2011, Robotnik was furious and send the badniks after her. He was mad that Sonic saved her.
In Summer 2012, Robotnik prepares to unleash his plans for world domination by sending the Badniks and Robots to attack New York, and kidnapped all the citizens in the city. Until his master plan was eventually thwarted by Sonic the Hedgehog and Lorcan Darcy.
Part Three: Sonic the Hedgehog and the Multiverse of Adventure[]
Chapter 1[]
Robotnik, now using his alias as Dr. Eggman, visits Amaya Hagins and releases her from prison, so they could get revenge on both of their enemies.

Eggman watches Lorcan and Amaya's Yu-Gi-Oh! duel in the Frozen universe, the twelfth and penultimate world. When Amaya's defeated, Eggman told her to abandoned the twelfth world and returns back to their earth.

After the heroes has saved the Multiverse, Robotnik reveals a backup plan. He sets up a shell corporation called Shady Corporation and uses it to purchase the abandoned Ramshackle Amusement Park, renaming it Botnikland Amusement Park. He recruits a group of school bullies and roboticizes them into Bullibots. Eggman orders the bots to look around the park and find the remaining Chaos Emeralds.
After stealing Dawn's XRI technology, Eggman develops a virtual reality ride to draw kids to the newly revived theme park. The park opens to huge crowds, with kids all across town attending opening day. However, when Lorcan, Max, Dawn and Sonic manage to inspect the ride, they discover Eggman is using the ride to turn the kids into his Badniks, calling them Kinder-Bots and forcing them to look around the park to find the Chaos Emeralds. After further inspection, the duo discover that Eggman, using the Chaos Emeralds, will program the XRI to turn the world's natural landmarks, such as Mount Everest and the Amazon rainforest, into digital replicas so that he can make virtual reality experiences and profit off of people wanting to see them, so that they wouldn't have to visit the landmarks themselves. The BulliBots catch the duo and a chase ensues, ending with a weak Sonic, Max, and Dawn being captured and Lorcan barely escaping.
After the chase, the Kinder-Bots return home, being unconditionally obedient to their parents. Lorcan hatches a plan to return everything back to normal and sendDr. Eggman into another world. The climax has Lorcan rescue Max, Dawn and Sonic and the duo battle Dr. Eggman before Lorcan activates the XRI and causes herself, Max, Dawn, Sonic, Dr. Eggman, Amaya and the Badniks to a bizzare. Another battle ensues, with a newly rejuvenated Sonic eventually defeating Dr. Eggman with Josh's help. With Eggman's plans foiled, he ends up into a portal into Seaside Island aka Sonic Boom universe.
