Dr. Wheelo is the central antagonist by proxy in the Dragon Ball Z Abridged movie, The World's Strongest.
Biography[]
Some time ago, Dr. Jonathan Wheelo was a world renowned scientist and cancer researcher. However, he fell ill one day, ironically to lung cancer. Afterward, his assitant, Dr. Kocchin puts his brain in a jar and then leaves to get groceries for ten years, leaving Dr. Wheelo all alone.
By the time Kocchin returns, The lab has frozen over, so Kocchin uses the dragon balls to melt the ice and then get to work on getting Dr. Wheelo a new body. Although Wheelo isn't picky on the body, Kocchin insists on the body of the world's strongest fighter, kidnapping Roshi and Bulma with intent on giving him Roshi. However, because of how old Roshi is, Wheelo suggests Bulma's body, only for Kocchin to reject because she isn't as strong and doesn't have a penis.
However, after a demonstration of Roshi's power, using modified versions of Dr. Wheelo's formerly benevolent creations, proves him to not be anywhere close to the strongest anymore, Wheelo reveals himself to Bulma and asks for her body, only to be informed of how big he has become from absorbing the embalming fluid he is stored in.
Just then, Goku arrives to correct the mistake that was made, and Wheelo is forced to watch as Kocchin sends Blub Blub to fight Goku, becoming saddened when Blub Blub is destroyed. Goku then fights Zap Zap and Brr, killing them as well. It is then that Wheelo realizes Kocchin could have given him one of their bodies.
As soon as Goku, Gohan, and Krillin reach the lab, Kocchin summons a brainwashed Piccolo. Seeing this, Wheelo asks why he can't just have Piccolo's body, only to be told no penis. As Goku fights Piccolo, Kocchin engages a verbal battle with Gohan, sending the body into a rage that gets Kocchin to consider him as a candidate. However, Wheelo is against this due to Gohan being a child.
Eventually, the carnage causes Wheelo to get so angry that he rips himself out of the wall he is in, revealing himself to be in a robotic exoskeleton that Kocchin never informed him of. Fed up, Wheelo crumbles the floor beneath Kocchin, sending the mad scientist plummeting to his death. Although Goku assures that Wheelo now has a body, Wheelo refuses to accept the exoskeleton as a body due to lacking the ability to taste, smell, or touch.
He then fights the Z Fighters before being blasted into space by Goku. Looking at the planet, Dr. Wheelo becomes sad. As Goku gets a spirit bomb ready to finish him off, Gohan flies up to Wheelo and finds out the man isn't truly evil and he just wants a body, having grown tired of being alone in a jar for so many years. Realizing this, Gohan asks him to wait one more year and convinces Goku not to kill him. One year later, the group summon Shenron and wish for a new body for Dr. Wheelo. Wheelo, expresses his gratitude to them as they look in disturbance at how misproportioned his cranium is with the rest of his body.
Unfortunately, Dr. Wheelo's happiness doesn't last, as he would later be confirmed to have died of brain cancer in the Broly movie.
