DreamXD is the titular overarching antagonist of the Minecraft web series Dream SMP, and it's spin-off series Tales from the SMP.

Being introduced early on in Season 1, he, at the time, was simply known as the Dreamon, a being that was part of Dream's body. However, after a ritual conducted by Fundy and Tubbo, DreamXD was freed from Dream's body, and would go on to become the overlooker of the Dream SMP. Over the story, DreamXD has been the one encouraging the wars and deaths of everyone in the server just so he can stay powerful, and is responsible for some of its key items such as the Book of Revival and the Book of Death.

He is portrayed by Dream, who also portrays himself in the same SMP.

Appearance

DreamXD appears exactly the same as Dream does, being completely green with his torso sporting a pixelated depiction of his avatar, that being a crudely-drawn white stickman with a smiling face. It's also said by Eryn that DreamXD flies around on a pair of wings.

In fan interpritations, DreamXD appears to be a towering figure wearing a green cloak with a green eye button holding it at the collar, two halos, and the "XD" emoticon tilted sideways plastered on his white mask.

Personality

DreamXD is shown to be quick-thinking yet impulsive, which is evident by him destroying Philza and Technoblade's portal. Depending on his mood, DreamXD can be protective, as shown with others such as GeorgeNotFound and Foolish (although he does consider the latter his pet). In addition, he does not take to being offended, and has a very short temper, as he tends to strike down whoever insults him with lightning bolts many times. It would also appear that DreamXD has a very confusing view of morality, as demonstrated when he sent Nihachu to hell for sixteen minutes to appeal to George. Whenever angry, DreamXD's voice begins to echo and deepens considerably, in addition to acting far more aggressive.
