Drifloon is a Ghost/Flying-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IV and minor antagonist in If PokeDex Entries Were Literal series created by popular YouTuber, Dorkly. It is rumored that while slim children venture down the sidewalk, walk in the woods, cross the street, etc. It will grab the hands of them and take them to its nest, to murder them. The children will then go to the afterlife, and get reincarnated into more Drifloon. The Drifloon seek revenge for when they were murdered as humans.
It does not like picking up heavy/obese children. It does not find interest in these children. They also do not have enough strength to lift them until they are a Drifblim. The heavy children get jealous that they do not get picked to get abducted. They have started calling Drifloon, "Magic Ghost Balloon". "It is whispered that any child who mistakes DRIFLOON for a balloon and holds on to it could wind up missing.", is the PokeDex entry for Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver. It is very similar to the Sun and Moon entry, "Stories go that it grabs the hands of small children and drags them away to the afterlife. It dislikes heavy children.", in which the Dorkly video is based upon.
Appearance[]
Drifloon are a Pokémon that have the appearance of a purple balloon. Its face has two beady eyes and a yellow patch in between them that looks like a cross, which is where the Drifloon's mouth is seen such as in the Anime or Pokémon-Amie. At the top of their head, Drifloon have a small bit of "fluff" that appears to be a small cloud. Near the bottom of their body are two arms, skinny enough to be like string, with yellow heart-shaped hands at the tips.
