Everyday I woke up. Everyday I was reminded that I am inadequate. You're a freak. An ugly freak. Your feathers. Your beak. Good luck trying to keep your perfect family. It will be hard to continue your pure bloodline if everyone is dead. You want to know what I've done? I think you know. I have become beautiful. No one came looking for me when I disappeared... and now, no one will come looking for you.
~ Duck before seemingly killing Mother Swan and his most famous quote.

Duck is the villainous main protagonist of The Ugly Duckling Analog Horror video. He is a duckling-turned-monster due to the active shunning he received from Mother Swan and his siblings.

History[]

Mother Swan was laying her eggs near the pond. Five cyglets hatched, with one hatchling being a duckling. Duck's siblings and Mother Swan actively shamed him for how he looked and being different.

Duck disappeared mysteriously one night and Mother Swan's kids, having become adults, go out to find places of their own. As the swans reminisce about the past, it gets dark. A shadowy figure appears in the background and snatches Simon, then goes after Sylvie, after which the shadowy figure is revealed to be Duck, hiding in the barn, along with all of the dead and mutilated bodies of the swans.

He would then later kill his own mother (as shown in the form of a jumpscare) in the end of the video.

Appearance[]

As a baby, Duck looked like a regular duckling, but more cartoony. He had periwinkle feathers and dark periwinkle beak and legs.

When he becomes a monster, his plumage is dark purple and he is covered in feathers, possibly plucked from his deceased siblings' bodies. He now has human-like teeth in his beak. His eyes are similar to the Alternates from the Mandela Catalogue. He has also revealed to have red human hands, as shown in his jumpscare.

Personality[]

Duck's personality is complicated. Not much is known about it, but it is possible that in his childhood, he was perpetually depressed. After he reached adulthood, he became hateful of his family and showed no remorse after brutally murdering his siblings.

Trivia[]

  • It is unknown how Duck's head isn't covered in feathers. However, it is possible that he grew really tall when he reached adulthood.
  • At the end of the video's credits, the eyes of the Duckling can be spotted in the darkness, looking at the viewers.
