Dusk is a major antagonist within in Dragon Sim Cinematic Universe.
She is a highly sadistic and predatory teenage demon-dragon hybrid with a love for violence and brutality. She is also a loyal member of Elite Evil Dragons--or EED for short--a clan that desires to take over the world and kill off the heroes.
She serves as the persona for DuskxPhoenix, who also voices her in her YouTube appearances.
Biography[]
Background
When Deathbattle chose to temporarily turn evil to vent her frustrations, she unintentionally spawned Dusk as a result of the Many Worlds Interpretation―a theory that states that everything a person or thing does will "branch" off to create another universe or timeline. Dusk virtually shares the same history as Deathbattle, other than Bloodcry not being her twin sister and the fallout between Light and her never happened.

When Deathbattle mysteriously died, instead of reincarnating as another version of herself, Dusk took her place.
Personality[]
A violent, cruel, and ruthless sadist, Dusk is often viewed as a vicious killer that is a dangerous dragon to encounter. Further adding to her savage nature, she has the tendency to mutilate and devour her victims while they're still alive, regardless of the species, meaning she has no qualms over consuming her own kind. While she is infamous for her brutality, Dusk isn't a mindless beast. She is also capable of forming strategies against her prey and using her intelligence to exploit weaknesses.
When Dusk isn't attacking or killing someone, another side of her personality is revealed. She is also a scathingly snarky, annoying, immature, and somewhat bratty teenager with a penchant for troublemaking. She tends to speak in a childish manner, often using terms such as "meanie" and "dumb dumb" and rarely cursing. Dusk enjoys pestering a majority of the people around her, friends and/or clan members and enemies included. While she is annoying people, she may intentionally start arguments by provoking them. If an argument does start, she is incredibly stubborn and refuses to give up, often leading to hour-long fights that end with the other person giving up.
While it may seem that Dusk is an all-around terrible person, she has a few positive qualities. When she isn't being a nuisance to the people around her, she can be a genuinely sweet and empathic dragon. Dusk forms attachments to her friends and is fiercely protective of those she cares about. Tying into her immature traits, she tends to be playful and enjoys hanging out with friends as much as possible, even if it may lead to her becoming pushy or needy. She is also fond of giving nicknames to those she is particularly close to like "Unclew" for Prince and "Auntie" for Charlie. As best as she tries to hide it, Dusk suffers from intense self-loathing and is immensely insecure. She feels inferior to the people around her, no matter how hard they try to convince her otherwise. She often compares her achievements to others as if to justify her inferiority complex and gets angry at herself for not being good enough. Despite feeling that she's worthless, she still attempts to impress her friends as much as possible, even if it may embarrass herself in the process. Not helping with her issues is that she has a relatively nihilistic approach to life—believing that life doesn't have any meaning and there is no point in it. With all this negativity compounding together, Dusk has contemplated suicide many times in her life, although she has never made an attempt.
Appearance[]
Dusk is a demon-dragon of a relatively thin build and has dark green scales on her upper half. Her underbelly is banana yellow, and the two colors mesh together on her face, tail and wings, creating a pattern of stripes on each body part. Her eyes are a soulless jet black and lack pupils. Her jaw is lined with dozens of conical teeth and has sharp, black fingernails on her front and back claws.
Powers/Abilities[]
- Reincarnation: Identical to her counterpart Deathbattle, she will resurrect with a new soul and body upon death.
- Decay: Dusk's bodily fluids contain a highly toxic and dangerous liquid known as "Decay". When this hazardous substance comes into contact with organic matter, it will rapidly corrode the flesh or other living materials until it is destroyed. She transmits this deadly weapon by either excreting it from her claws and scratching or coming into contact her body fluids—most often by spitting on or biting someone. A side effect alongside necrosis is its immunity to spells. Spells intending to heal or benefit a person infected will have its effects exponentially increase in strength and speed and one meant to harm a victim will become ineffective against it.
- Western Dragon physiology: As a western style dragon, she has a few standard features such as flight, a scaly, nearly impenetrable hide, sharp claws and teeth, and a large size in comparison to other creatures.
- Immunity to infections/diseases/parasites: Because of the decay inside of her, she is practically immune to all diseases spread by pathogens as they cannot withstand its affects.
- Regenerating claws: If her claw-nails are worn down or completely ripped off, they will rapidly grow back over a short period of time.
- Hyperactive Metabolism: Her body quickly burns through calories, making it practically impossible for her to gain weight. As a consequence, she is constantly ravenous and requires a lot of food to survive.
- Possession: Dusk was once shown to be able to possess her "good" counterpart, as she took over her body and influenced Deathbattle to commit suicide by allowing Prince to kill her. It's unknown whether she can use this ability on other people since this was the only time she ever used it.
Trivia[]
- Dusk was partially inspired by Gigan from the Godzilla franchise, particularly the Showa era incarnation.
- Ironically, the creator of Dusk would go on to use the character as inspiration for her own interpretation of Gigan.
- She is aromantic asexual.
- According to her creator, DuskxPhoenix, she considers Dusk the most violent character she has ever created, along with one of the evilest.
