Earl Jones is the main antagonist of 2006 fan film Rockabye, he is Louis's abusive and alcoholic father who takes pleasure in abusing his own son.
He is portrayed by Carlos Santana.

Earl is a stout man, with short, curly hair, a burly paunch, a battered man, with ragged clothes and he has a mustache. Due to being an alcoholic, Earl has a unkempt and disheveled appearance.
Biography[]
Earl was born in 1896 in the rural area of the USA. He came from a broken family and received a strict education from his father, his father was an alcoholic and used to beat his mother, something that unfortunately Earl himself would become later.
In 1913, at 17 years old, Earl was sent to a military school. He stayed there for 4 years, starting as a cadet and training for 4 years, one year later Earl was promoted to captain, Earl left the school in 1917 at 20 years old.
At 24 years old, Earl was promoted to lieutenant and he taught classes at a military academy, however, he was very strict and too rigid with the students. In 1925 he met and married a simple woman named Grace, however, they lived through an abusive marriage just like Earl's father with his mother, with Earl hitting Grace, and in 1927 they had a son named Louis, Earl said that Grace would turn him into a sissy, due to the fact that he spent so much time with her.
A few months passed, and Earl was expelled from the military school for abusing the students. Unemployed, he became an alcoholic, and began to abuse Grace even more, and now their son Louis, whom he had developed hatred for.
When Louis was 9 years old, Grace died in a car accident while planning to run away with the boy to get away from Earl, with Grace gone, Earl began to abuse Louis much more. hitting his son, like in the days of military school where he punished students, mainly punishing his son with a whip, Earl wants to make Louis 'a real man'.
In July 1951, Louis who was about to commit suicide ended up in a brothel, and their life changed upon getting to know and later married Lorraine, a prostitute from a brothel whom he met and wanted to get out of there. She ended up getting pregnant by him and went to live with Louis at his and his father's dysfunctional farm, and Evelyn was born in May 1952. Earl hates his own newborn granddaughter and compares her to Lorraine, saying that when the girl grows up she will be a prostitute like her mother. Besides abusing Louis both physically and psychologically, who cannot confront his father, he is a loving and protective father to his daughter and does not let Earl touch her.
Earl remains unemployed and more of an alcoholic, spending his days in a low-class bar with his friend Bob, as well as engaging in various pool bets.
One night, Louis is cooking beef hash for dinner while Evelyn is in her room lying in her crib. Earl comes home bringing Bob with him, making Louis scared. Earl introduces Louis to Bob and demands that his son serve him and Bob a beer, which Louis does. Louis returns to finish preparing the beef hash, while Earl mocks his son's cooking, saying he looks like a "sissy." cooking.
Louis serves two plates of hash to Earl and Bob. Both men hate the dish when they eat. Earl insults his son, saying he's a useless man who can't do anything right, he also insults his late wife, Louis' mother, Grace, saying that is her fault that she turned Louis into a "sissy." Louis cries in front of Earl and Bob. Earl mocks his son and tells him to clear the plate from the table. Louis accidentally spills food on his father. Earl becomes enraged and believes Louis did it to defy him. Louis tries to explain himself, but Earl rips his son's shirt and demands that he lie on his back on the floor, taking the whip in his hand.
Earl punishes his son with whips, making Louis scream in pain while Bob just watches. After 15 minutes, Earl stops beating and humiliates and mocks his son, who is lying on the floor. Earl says that this way he will learn to be a real man. He and Bob return to the bar. At the bar, Earl and Bob get involved in a pool bet involving money. However, Earl ends up losing and starts a fight with the man who stole his money only to be restrained by Bob, the police arrive and Earl and the other bar patrons flee.
The next morning, Earl leaves for home, and on the way he meets his neighbor Hazel, she says that Earl shouldn't be cruel to Louis, but Earl threatens her and goes on his way. At home, Earl is confronted by Lorraine, he threatens her stating that she is just a slut who seduced his sissy son.
