Ebony Bran is a minor antagonist in the Webtoon comic The Legends of Van Helsing: Gothic Slayer. He was sent by "Tartarus" to kill helsing and uses birds to do it but in the end his pride and self speeching got him killed in the end.

in his bird form he looks like a little black bird with black holes for eyes.
Hybrid[]
he wears a dark suit with a white shirt and no necktie he wears a cylinder hat with a feather on the front holden down by a metal button with a Dagaz rune on it with a line down the middle and on his right hand he has only 3 fingers and what looks to be scaring on his other two nubs leading one to believe he lost two fingers at some point besides that he looks just like his raven form but as a human hybrid.
Personality[]
he is seen as a cocky and prideful bird demon who sees humans as lesser creatures who can't even harm him even with silver bullets
despite his cocky attitude, knows he is pretty weak. In fact, Erebus Donn reminds him constantly, but he knows he is stronger than humans and common monsters, so he bullies them so he can feel strong

- Noctecorvus is latin meaning "night crow".
- he seems to be based on Night Ravens in German Folklore
- the Dagaz Rune symbolizes the sun which is strange for a monster called a Night Raven.
- he was loosly based on the monsters known as The Birds from the film The Birds.
