Edward “Eddie” Lodewijk Van Halen is the secondary antagonist of the 2020 Mega64 Interactive Hell Festival.
He is a deceased musician and demon who possesses several celebrities and makes them do depraved acts for no real reason other than to entertain himself. His latest victim would be Shawn Chatfield, whom he possesses after Game Crypt attempts to have him put into Black String’s body. He is the arch-nemesis of the Game Crypt.
He is portrayed and voiced by Shawn Chatfield when possessed and in dragon form respectively.
Biography[]
Whilst not directly mentioned, he is the enigmatic force that Mega64 suspects to have haunted the studio for months, due to bizarre going ons in the studio, such as all of the power going out randomly and Shawn’s lightsaber turning itself on without the button being pressed. However, due to the lack of concrete proof and evidence, the Mega64 crew decides to hire a medium named Jen Denlight in order to prove their suspicions. They even use a Oujia board to contact Van Halen, with it pointing to the word “yes”.
As it turns out, there actually was a spirit haunting the studio, to which the Jizz Ghost is horrified by. Since the Jizz Ghost is afraid of ghosts he hires a gang of exorcists named the Game Crypt.
Trivia[]
- Despite being the secondary villain, he is shown to be far more directly antagonistic than the Jizz Ghost, the main antagonist of the Hell Festival. In addition, he has more screen time and is overall more dangerous than him.
