“ | Now... who wants a jawbreaker? | „ |

“ | The taste of retribution... sure is sweet... | „ |
~ Eddy's other famous quote and his final line in the video. |
Eddy is one of the 3 villain protagonists (alongside Ed and Double D) of MeatCanyon's horror short film duology Jawbreaker. He is a macabre sadistic version of the character from Ed, Edd, n' Eddy of the same name.
He was voiced by Hunter Hancock, A.K.A MeatCanyon himself.
Synopsis[]
Jawbreaker[]
In the neighborhood, Kevin is talking to Eddy and Double D (who by the way never speaks in these short films). Kevin asks Eddy about what he does with all his "garbage" near his house, and apparently a very calm Eddy answers that it is to "see god" Eddy asks Kevin if he ever wanted to see something so beautiful and divine, Kevin on the other hand, watches the plank lying near the entrance of the place to see god, to which Kevin asks Eddy where Jonny 2x4 was, Eddy tells him that he went to "witness perfection". Kevin also wonders where everyone is, Eddy tells him that they went to see the most divine thing of all. Kevin reluctantly agrees to enter that place, and inside, a yellow glow attracts Kevin's attention, who does not realize that a creepy Ed is behind him, outside you can hear Kevin's terrifying screams, Eddy asks "now, who wants a jawbreaker?"
Jawbreaker 2[]
Inside the place again, Kevin is tied to a chair, surrounded by the corpse of all five kids in the Cul-de-sac. Eddy explains to Kevin that he ripped off the jaws of the others for being cruel to him, and that Kevin was the most cruel. Eddy says that there is nothing more beautiful than the truth, Kevin asks what the truth is, Eddy says that the truth depends on who finds it. Eddy's truth is retribution, then Eddy sends Ed to rip out Kevin’s jaw. After killing Kevin, It was revealed that the mysterious ball of light in Jawbreaker 1 was a jawbreaker made out of jaws of all 6 kids in the cul-de-sac as Eddy adds Kevin’s jaw to the jawbreaker, and then, Eddy holds the jawbreaker in his mouth, Eddy, standing in front of all the kids who wronged him, and says: "The taste of retribution... sure is sweet...".
Appearance[]
To a certain extent, Eddy looks like his original version and has the same clothes, however, this Eddy is shorter, has somewhat skeleton arms, his lips are dry and his eyes are wrinkled. He is also drawn with five fingers on each hand, unlike the original Eddy.
Personality[]
Eddy is brutal, sadistic, vengeful, disturbingly calm and polite. He seems to have changed his short temper as he never screams at anyone in these short films. He’s also sadistic as he openly stated how sweet his revenge felt.
Eddy has developed a warped and delusional worldview where he believes he has seen a "beautiful truth" that others have not, and he equates this with his violent retribution. His line, "Oh, I have paid, Kevin. I'm blinded by the beautiful truth," suggests that he believes his suffering has given him a special insight.
He seems to be smarter, and more deceitful then in his original as in these episodes he easily decieves Kevin, Kevin mind you is one of the first people that notices a scam at face value, but now he was easily manipulated by Eddy just by one statement.
Eddy still seems to care about his two best friends Ed, and Edd (Double D). However, it is likely possible that he manipulated them to become completely ruthless mutes that never question him.
Powers/Skills[]
Manipulation[]
- Eddy has become highly skilled in psychological manipulation, He is capable of drawing in even the skeptical Kevin with minimal effort. Kevin, normally quick to spot scams, falls under Eddy’s influence without resistance.
Intelligence[]
- Eddy has lured all of the cul de sac kids into one place, just by using his convincing voice alone, then one by one he would kill them by ripping off their jaws.
Victims[]
- Sarah
- Rolf
- Jimmy
- Nazz
- Jonny 2x4 (all off-screen, indirect)
- Kevin (onscreen, indirect)

Trivia[]
- Despite his parents not being shown, it's possible that his parents would hear the screams if they are alive and would call the police or Eddy had murdered them offscreen before the video, just to prevent them knowing, while his brother was not shown it's mostly he's in prison or the Kankers are with him or he was presumably killed by Eddy offscreen. He also possibly killed the Kankers in his retribution for them trying to ruin him and his friends' life, what might possibly be more horrifying is if Eddy were to have murdered the police as well.
- Edd and Ed also possibly killed their parents in order to prevent them from knowing the murders.
- Eddy has five fingers in this version, even though every other character has four fingers in the original show.
