Elena Devenior is an unseen character in We Happy Few 2. She is the antagonist in The Byng Out and serves as a hallucinated character.
Biography[]
Elena had an abusive family and when she got a school where she was bullied and became emotionless then her friend saw her cutting her self in the restroom while tried to kill herself, goes unconscious, gets in the clinic, and got healed.
In the Authority Project, she ran away from her parents and sneak through the train to get out, the train was about to go and right on time gets in there then meets Percival Hastings who was crying because Arthur abandoned him, she comforts him and telling her story about her parents and they headed the explosion sound and Percy was about to get stabbed, bur instead Elena sacrifice herself while got stabbed in the right eye that towards her brain that can kill her.
After escape the train, Percy made a grave for her as a friend, and the student who wants to help him buried her body in the mainland and add cross on it but also peacefully sleeps. Years later, Sam Williams goes to her grave and accidentally summoned her by giving flowers and candles in her grave. Elena became a ghost and also the vengeful one who wanted to get revenge.

Elena has brown hair and a blue eye, she wears a school uniform and black shoes at Wrillington Wells school.
In her ghost form, she also wears a school uniform and black shoes.
Events of The Byng Out[]
Elena is shown on Robert Byng's nightmare that his daughter Victoria Byng became his enemy and been drowned by children's souls that consumed him and wake up in fear, Robert sobbing because of the worst nightmare. Elena was disguised as Maharajkumari appeared on the mirror and telling him why Robert telling her that Dr. Smilez had a plan to sent all the kids away to Germany because children are useless and he knew she hates him, but she wasn't as she loves him and Robert almost loses his mind then throws a bottle of scotch in the mirror and sits down in the chair to calm down.
Robert was about to leave his office until notices that Elena was walking on the left side of the lair, instead, she is gone. Elena gets inside of his mind then Robert fights it and thinks Elena was gone in his head.
Elena was about to play his mind while playing hide and seek with him and back in reality, Robert saw that he killed his own soldiers with the bayonet and saying "I will get you", Elena laughs and leaves. Robert cleaned himself and goes to the factory where he takes Joy.
Elena shown at Robert's visions while fight with Dr. Anton Verloc and after his defeat, Elena appeared and Robert tried to stab her instead he stab Dr. Verloc with the bayonet and telling him it's over but Anton telling him not yet and later, Annie Hastings destroys the joy factory and Anton telling him again now it's over using his last energy by injected Robert with his syringe gun full of hallucinogen in his neck and kick Robert in the face.
Elena was inside Robert's mind and telling the stories about her mentors then she was gone now.
After Robert got in jail, Victoria visit her grave then telling her to go back to sleep and Elena accepts her request and sleeps forever in eternity at her grave.

- She is similar to Eveline from Resident Evil 7, Alma Wade from F.E.A.R. (video game), Aggie Panderghast from Paranorman, and Zuko's mother from Avatar: The Last Airbender.
- At the end of the game, Elena goes back to her grave and sleeps forever by Victoria Byng by forgiving her for getting to General Byng's mind
- She is shown to be a poltergeist after she attack her bullies for their crimes.
- In The Mysterious Quest, Robert Byng Jr. mentioned her that she hallucinates his great-great-grandfather by her gift.
- Her grave can be found at the tree outside of Great Britain, and the player see her grave with nonsuches in the left side and a candle on the right side of her grave.
