Eileen "Ellie" Creed, known as Batgirl, is the main antagonist of the 2019 version of Pet Sematary and the secondary antagonist of the fanfiction Son of Red Hood. She returns as a major character in the sequel The Darkest Hour, and one of two deuteragonists (alongside Black Canary) in the threequel The Fears Of The Past.
She loved her family until her death from being hit by an Onrico tanker truck. After her resurrection, she started to kill and zombify her family. 4 months after the chaos, she and Louis had a primary target, Jason Todd/Red Hood (who would eventually become her adoptive father).

As soon as Red Hood arrives, he fired his gun, which does kill Rachel, scares Chruch away, and even causes her and Louis to run from him. It is implied that the two were planning revenge on him for saving Gage.
4 months later[]
After arriving at the Blue Water Fish Market, she and Louis jumped out of the truck, and were disgusted about themselves smelling like fish. While walking around, Louis vowed revenge on Red Hood for taking Gage with him. Ellie also wants him dead for leaving Church to die. Afher Louis killed the original owner of the black 2019 Ford Escape. After putting on their seatbelts, they sped off in search of Red Hood and Gage, who had been adopted by Jason.
Arrival at Wendy's[]
After Louis Creed pulled up to Wendy's in the getaway car, Ellie stared intently at Jason Todd and Gage. As she starts to lose paitence, Louis reassures her that Red Hood will be dead, and Gage would die too. Rachel and Church will be resurrected again, and then, Louis would have a zombie family.
The next day[]
After she and Louis had woken up, they already smelled clean from the fish truck that they stowed away on. They had finished up with breakfast, but Ellie was losing paitence at the thought that Red Hood was not dead yet. Louis reassured her to be paitent and that they will kill their enemy eventually. First, Louis, with Ellie in tow, decides to go to SP Firearms Unlimited, where Louis finds a multitude of guns and knives. He finds a Hellcat OSP 9mm Luger pistol, a HRACW 410 Bore rifle, and a BG Knife Prisim III Folding Hunter switchblade. Louis then purchased the weapons and used the ID of the car's original owner. The two then left with the weapons.
The car chase and being cured[]
After getting back on the road, she watched and lost paitence as Louis took aim at the vehicle Jason Todd/Red Hood owned at the time, but only hit the passenger side door. Louis then repetadly shot at Red Hood in an effort to kill him, but he responds by shooting the front right tire of the getaway vehicle, causing it to crash into a fence, seemingly killing both of them. After Red Hood went into the house, Gage's babysitter named Ms. Krensick had left. Red Hood got a jetpack, and standing at the front door, was Ellie. She was standing there, with her white tutu and half of her cat mask partially singed from the chase, revealing her disfigurement. She then jumped onto Red Hood, where they had a struggle until he managed to grab the syringe and inject her with the cure by sticking the syringe into her right arm. As a result, Ellie stopped attacking, then she clenched onto her stomach with her right hand, and stumbled around. Eventually, she stumbled onto the shower curtain in the first bathroom she found, which snagged onto her clothes, and her cat mask fell off after falling into the bath tub. Her facial disfigurement was fixed as she fell, as well as any damage that she had from the truck being reversed by the cure. The shower curtain covered her up like a blanket. Red Hood saw that the syringe was empty, but was pleased that he used it to cure Ellie of her powers and abilities.
Aftermath[]
After Red Hood fought and killed Louis, he heard crying, took off his Red Hood helmet, then ran off to the bathroom where Ellie had fallen into the bathtub of. She was crying about her prior actions, and Jason comforted and forgave her after sharing his story about being revived with her, Then, Ellie started to cry, but Jason managed to calm her down by shushing her. He then decided to adopt her and get her a child psychologist, becasue he worries about how Ellie would turn out.
2 weeks later[]
Having been adopted by Jason Todd, he decided to take both Ellie and Gage to Fantasy Forest Amusement Park in their adoptive father's new car, a black 2017 Lincoln Navigator in order for him to replace the white 2007 Cadillac Escalade that was destroyed during the battle with Louis. After going on the ride, which is called Queens Himalaya, she remarked that it was going to be fun. After that, she went with Jason Todd and her brother to Flushing Ice Cream Factory. Throughout the trip there, Ellie was listening to Come And Get Your Love by Redbone on her black Zune 30 and green wired earbuds that Jason got for her while Gage was playing with his toy Laugh And Learn To Play puppy that Jason got him. They soon arrived at the ice cream parlor. Jason ordered two cups of Pineapple ice cream. One for him, and one for Gage. Ellie ordered some Banana Ice Cream for herself, much to her enjoyment. After finishing their snack, the three got back in the vehicle, and as they left for their home, and Ellie was listening to Cherry Bomb by The Runaways on her Zune. As they left the ice cream parlor, Ellie told Jason and Gage that she is looking forward to her next adventure. She, Gage, and Jason nodded in agreement as they were heading back to their home.
In between[]
They had fun, and even cared for one another over the course of 5 years. In one instance, Jason wanted to help Ellie when she caught a fever at the age of 11. They also went on a family vacation, while waiting at Gate 8 for the flight to arrive. While they were waiting, Gage was playing with his I Can Drive! First Fire Truck toy while Ellie was listening to I'm Always Chasing Rainbows by Alice Cooper.

Now 14 years old, while sitting on the front steps to Jason Todd's house, she is listening to the acoustic version of Creep by Radiohead, which was playing in the background of the final few minutes of her flashback, indicating that she was having an anxiety attack. After some time of her walking into the house, Ellie was called down to dinner. After she was asked why she didn't touch her pizza, Ellie revealed that it was due to her anxiety attacks that she had been having in the 5 years since being cured and adopted. She then revealed that Ellie had been taking paroxetine every night before bed. Jason then revealed to her that following Louis's ultimate death, he was buried at the Gate of Heaven cemetery, with the area he was buried in being surrounded and enclosed by concrete to try and deter anyone from digging him up and resurrecting him so that he could return.
Ellie showed gratitude for being cured. After she gave her adoptive father a hug, she, him, and Gage finished their dinner, then she went back to her room. Ellie was then playing Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on her Xbox Series X. She was at the part where Cere Junda was stopping the last of the Empire's assault, and would later battle Darth Vader.
Conversation with Jason Todd[]
After arriving in Ellie's room, she and Jason had a conversation about Jud being revived and calling himself Hush. When Gage, now 7 years old, came into the room, he informed them that there was something they need to see. After the three of them went into the living room, they hear on the news on the channel ABC7 that Hush, Rachel Creed, and Bane were going on a crime spree in the city robbing places.
We Out hiking trail disaster[]
After they got in the car, they then left to head back to their lair. Jason then decided to take Ellie and Gage to the We Out hiking trail. While they were on the trail, she started to admire the fresh air. However, as they turned around and went back to the 2017 Lincoln Navigator that Jason owned, they noticed Rachel Creed standing in front of them. She obeyed her adoptive father when he ordered them to get in the car for their own safety. However, Gage was shot in the back by Rachel, and Ellie then pulled out her iPhone 8 that she got for her first Christmas living with her adoptive dad, then called 911. As the ambulance came to take Gage to Kravis Children's Hospital to treat the gunshot wounds that he had been inflicted with, Ellie did her best to stabilize her brother's condition before they came.
After Rachel's defeat, Ellie went with Jason to Kravis Children's Hospital, in hopes that Gage would be OK.
Kravis Children's hospital[]
While she and Jason were at the hospital, Ellie hoped that Gage would be OK. Before they left, she gave him a Get Well Soon card. Jason then praised Ellie for her selflessness in trying to stabilize her brother's injury. She then revealed that the only reason she did that because she loved him. She was then hoping that he would get better while staring at a picture of her and Gage at the New York Aquarium.
Being kidnapped by Hush[]
After Gage was picked up by Jason, Ellie placed her right hand on Gage's left shoulder, and reassured him that it would be OK during the trip back home. Unknown to them, they were followed by Hush and Bane. While Red Hood is battling Bane, Hush ran into Ellie's room, then forced her to smell the chloroform rag he had. He then drove off, followed by Red Hood, who had finished with Bane.
Being rescued by Red Hood[]
When Ellie woke up in the master bedroom of Hush's lair, she saw that her ankles were tied to the front of the bed, and her wrists were tied to the back of the bed. She then called for him to let her go, but Hush refused. When Ellie asked him why he's doing what he's doing, Hush replies that the reason that he had been calling himself that is to keep his true plan a hush-hush, and that she was the primary target of it all. After Hush got out a Dremel Micro 8050 out of his garbage bag full of his weapons, he put the rotary attachment on, then used it in an attempt to lobotomize her. However, Red Hood damaged the Dremel, then he told him to stay away from her. After being freed, Ellie was ordered to get in the black 2017 Lincoln Navigator, and she obliged.
Aftermath and closure[]
Following Hush's ultimate death, Ellie was still shaken up about nearly being lobotomized, and Jason reassured her that it would not happen to her because Hush is dead. After giving Jason a hug, she then decided to Ellie and Jason then left, agreeing that they had too much trouble with Hush. After leaving the villain's lair, Jason was driving through the snowy streets. When Ellie saw a shadow leaving after it left something in the alley, she urged Jason to stop the car. However, when she enters the alley, she only finds a calico kitten named Anne, which she picks up and takes into the car with her. They then head back to their home, and a flashing light came on in the sky. After that, unbeknownst to Ellie, the man who left Anne in the alleyway looked at the signal.
The Fears Of The Past[]
School life[]
Ellie, now 15 years old, is picked up by her friend, Charlotte May Robelle (who she met and befriended after being pushed off the swing by Monica and Moorea Threesin in the past), and is taken to Flushing International High School. While on the way, Ellie listens to 99 Luftballoons by Nena on her black Zune 30. While at school, Ellie finds that her locker door was written on by Monica and Moorea Threesin, who had bullied her since she first enrolled into the district. After cleaning the message on her locker off, she went into class, and later, she went into the library and listened to Bye Bye Bye by NSYNC. After that, she went into the school bathroom, where after doing her buisness there, Ellie underwent her first period, causing Monica and Moorea Threesin to repetadly chant "Plug it up!" while throwing towels at her. This prompts Charlotte to tell them off, and helps Ellie to the nurse's office. An accident form was filed, giving Ellie the rest of the day off. Later, Ellie was notified on her Apple Watch Series 10 about her therapy appointment. She goes to see her therapist named Dr. Marty Bantine, who specializes in hypnotherapy. After the session, Ellie and Dinah went home.
A text message from Charlotte[]
On Ellie's Apple Watch Series 10, she got a texr message from Charlotte, telling her that Monica and Moorea Threesin had been expelled, much to Ellie's delight. After Gage entered her bedroom, he tole Ellie about her nightmares, but avoided going into detail out of fear of triggering her PTSD. Ellie loved the comment, then she and Gage hugged.
Bonding time with Dinah Laurel Todd[]
Dinah took Ellie to the Queens Place Mall for shopping. While at Target, Dinah reveals her past over being forbidden to fight crime by her mother. After getting their stiff from Target, the two go into the Macy's store there. After they arrive, Scarecrow follows suit, and he has Green Arrow play Partyman by Prince as they trashed the store. As the song was playing, the villainous trio were grooving as they tore multiple mattresses to shreds, and at the "Black and white. Red and green" lyric, Green Arrow fired one of his arrows at a nearby pillow, and ripped the pillow in half. They continued on until they found Ellie and Dinah in the clothes section. Green Arrow turned off the boombox at the "Oh, yeah, it's the partyman" lyric. Scarecrow mentions the trauma that Ellie is carrying, leading to Dinah to act on her maternal instincts by saying he'll regret it if here ever laid a finger on Ellie's head. Then, Scarecrow pulled out his skull sprayer, leading to Ellie to ask him where he got it, where he proceeded to explain. After the explanation, Ellie ran into the girl's bathroom as the Canary Cry was let out on the villains. After Ellie and Black Canary left, Scarecrow, Harley, and Green Arrow got back up on their feet, and left the mall.
Ellie's PTSD attack[]
That night, Ellie was in her bedroom, and she let out a scream after having a brief flash of herself as a zombie. Jason came into the room, and calmed down his adoptive daughter. She briefly told him about it, but Jason told her that when he adopted her, he felt an understanding of her trauma.
Rough mornings[]
The next day, Ellie had breakfast. After finishing, she went to school with her friend Charlotte. While there, Ellie was asked by Tyler, her friend from Ludlow, if she wanted to be his girlfriend. Ellie accepted, and she and Tyler shared a hug. After school ended, Ellie went home, and was eager to help her adoptive father upon hearing of Scarecrow's letter, only for her to be told to protect Gage. This causes Ellie to make her suit. During Red Hood and Black Canary's battle with Rachel Creed, Batgirl burts into the battle zone, much to Scarecrow's shock. He, his allies, Red Hood, Black Canary, and Batgirl all give chase as they play cat and mouse. Eventually, they jump the Pulaski Bridge, where Batgirl pulls out one of the Red Razor throwing stars, and throws it at Scarecrow's front left tire, causing the vehicle to swerve and crash into a lampost in front of The Box House Hotel. Scarecrow is charged at by Batgirl, but he tackles her and mocks her. After both Red Hood and Black Canary arrive, Scarecrow says that what had happened was a "cheat." The next time it happens, they should "play fair" before leaving. After returning home, Ellie is reprimanded for her recklessness, only for her to reply that she had been learning martial arts since her first week at the school where Gage had been attending. Ellie apologized to Gage, who forgave her. Ellie then decided to go call herself Batgirl for her own heroic activities.
Suiting up[]
After Red Hood, Black Canary, and Batgirl suited up, they left, intent on confronting Scarecrow, Harley, and Green Arrow.
Battle with Scarecrow[]
Upon arrival at Scarecrow's penthouse, Red Hood told Batgirl that she should do as she's told. While Batgirl is fighting Harley, she attempts to reason with her, but Harley refuses. This causes her to fire her AOR M21 assault rifle, and fires it at Batgirl, who uses her agility to miss all the shots. Harley takes out her Ruger LCR pistol from her right ankle holster, and fires four shots. Batgirl flips up her visor, giving Harley time to aim at her opponent's head. The visor is closed, and Harley fires the last shot in the gun, which ricochets off of the helmet, and hits Harley square in her right arm. Black Canary and Batgirl eventually joined the battle, but Scarecrow infected the three heroes with his fear toxin. After Red Hood got his helmet back on, he gets ahold of the skull and sprays the fear toxin at Scarecrow's face, causing him to stagger and hallucinate his older daughter Zelda. Panicking, Scarecrow walked backwards and hallucinated duplicates of Zelda, turned and swatted at the hallucinations until he fell off of the roof to his death.
3 weeks later[]
After Jason Todd returned from apologizing to Green Arrow, who is in prison, he and Ellie shared a hug. The two walked into another room, where Jason showed Ellie her new Batgirl suit as triumphant music plays, much to Ellie's gratitude. After Ellie asks who made it, Jason points to Dinah. Ellie places the display case in her room.Meanwhile, on the rooftop, stand Red Hood, Black Canary, and Batgirl as they are staring into the night sky.

As a human, Ellie started off as calm, caring, and compassionate. When she became a zombie, Ellie became cold-hearted, aggresive, and murderous. After being cured, Ellie regained her original traits, and felt remorseful for her prior actions.

- Despite the gender and age difference, Ellie shares a similarity with Terry McGinnis from the 1999 animated series Batman Beyond: Both are reformed juvenile delinquents.
- Ellie is the second villain in a h2023graduate story to be redeemed, the first to be Georgie Denbrough.
- Much like Peter Quill/Star-Lord from the Guardians Of The Galaxy films, she has a Zune. While Peter's is brown, Ellie's is black.
- h2023graduate got the idea of Ellie being cured from the 2021 film Spider-Man: No Way Home.
- Since Ellie was 9 years old during the events of the 2019 version of Pet Sematary and Son of Red Hood, she would be 14 years old during the events of The Darkest Hour. Because The Fears Of The Past is planned to be set 1 year after The Darkest Hour, it would make her 15 years old at that point in time.
- Ellie's anxiety attack at the start of The Darkest Hour was inspired by the opening scene of the 2023 film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Ironically, h2023graduate watches the film after watching the 2019 version of Pet Sematary.
