Elmo was one of the main protagonists of Sesame Street and the overall antagonist of FNF: Broken Strings. Serving as the main antagonist of the Sesame Street story of Act 1.
Elmo was known for being a three-and-a-half years old red monster, best known for speaking mostly in 2nd and 3rd person talk, who loved his family and friends. He loved to teach children and learn new things, along with hanging out with his friends Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Oscar, Ernie, Bert, Zoe, Abby, Telly Monster, Count, Grover, Julia, Rosita and Guy Smiley among others.
However once The Darkness came and took over Sesame Street, he became one of it's victims. Turning him into a violent red monster then who he once was.
Biography[]
Outbreak[]
Upon being infected he ends up corrupting Cookie Monster by ripping off his face which later leads to Oscar, Slimey and Gonger indirectly getting corrupted by the cookie loving monster.
Playtime's End[]
Wondering around Sesame Street, he comes across Big Bird and Snuffy. He is also joined by Cookie Monster and Oscar the Grouch. As Snuffy is corrupted, Ernie and Bert come to help Big Bird escape. In the end Elmo (for whatever reason) rips off Snuffy's head, killing him.
Tantrum[]
Elmo returns with Cookie Monster and Oscar, facing off against Big Bird, Ernie and Bert. Later on Zoe shows up and Elmo becomes enraged and mutating. Soon enough, out of anger Elmo kills his best friend Zoe before fighting Big Bird, Ernie and Bert again. Elmo then attempts to kill Bert but Ernie saves him before he gets the chance. As the duo escape, Big Bird gets trapped and tells the two to go on without him, they leave and Big Bird is left to fight Elmo and Cookie Monster. As Cookie Monster leaves Big Bird and Elmo engage in a standoff. Elmo ultimately defeats Big Bird by tricking him into thinking he saved him before corrupting him.
Sweet Tooth[]
Elmo doesn't appear in Sweet Tooth but before said song, he ripped off Cookie Monster's face to stop him from breaking free. However this did not stop Gonger and Mr. Johnson from saving him. This leads to Elmo and Oscar becoming angered by what Mr. Johnson and Gonger did.
Carnage[]
Elmo will return in the final Sesame Street song with Abby, Telly, Count and Grover against Mr. Johnson, Ernie, Bert, Cookie monster and gonger (and maybe Oscar).
Closed Curtains[]
Elmo will once again return in the Broken Strings finale with every other character who has ever appeared in Broken Strings. we will appear in section 1

Trivia[]
- Elmo is being tortured by The Darkness 24/7 because The Darkness "has to stop the main character", indicating that it views Elmo as a threat.
- It's worth noting that it is impossible for Elmo to be saved because of him being tortured and his young age.
- Elmo was initially conceived as some sort of god or extremely powerful being for Act 1. Until it was changed to him being very strong and impossible to save.
- While it's not canon to the Broken Strings storyline, Elmo breaks free in Tantrum ENCORE and escapes with Pibby at the end.
- On the topic of Tantrum Remixes, a majority of Tantrum Remixes have Elmo being saved from The Darkness (Like Tantrum RETAKE, Tantrum REIMAGINED and as mentioned above Tantrum ENCORE).
