She was voiced by Suno AI.
Biography[]
This version of Elsa's story begins similarly to how it did in the Disney version: Elsa was born as a princess to the kingdom of Arendelle. From a young age, Elsa had cryokenetic abilities, a byproduct of her mother's Northuldra heritage. She and her younger sister Anna spent a lot of time together as children until an accident caused Elsa to hurt Anna with her ice magic. Anna was taken to magical trolls, who helped her but instructed the king and queen to keep Elsa' ice powers a secret from Anna from that point on. They agreed, but also kept the two sisters apart for the rest of their childhoods, with Elsa becoming cold towards Anna and constantly refusing her attempts to go and play.
When the two were adults, the king and queen died while at sea, leading to Elsa being coronated as the new queen. Anna and Elsa briefly reconnected, but when Anna met a handsome prince named Hans at the coronation and asked for Elsa's blessing to be wed, Elsa refused due to how short of time the two had known each other. In a fit of anger, Anna accidentally makes Elsa defend herself with her ice magic, leading to her accidentally freezing the kingdom and fleeing.
Elsa escapes to the North Mountain, embracing her magic and her true self for the first time. In a moment of freedom, she builds a magnificent ice palace, creating an extravagant new home where she can be herself. However, her uncontrolled magic has also unleashed an eternal winter upon Arendelle. When Anna arrives at her ice palace to persuade her to return, Elsa accidentally strikes her with another blast of ice, this time hitting her heart. Believing she is a monster, Elsa's fear drives her to push Anna away with a giant snow monster.
Later, Elsa is captured and imprisoned back in Arendelle. Her captors believe her to be dangerous, and Prince Hans reveals his sinister plot to Anna, leaving her to freeze. Hans then confronts Elsa, falsely claiming Anna is dead. Elsa collapses in despair, and the storm outside intensifies, nearly consuming all of Arendelle. Just as Hans is about to deliver a killing blow, Anna, who has been saved by Olaf, chooses to sacrifice herself to save her sister.
Elsa is grieved and cries over her sister's frozen form, but Anna's act of true love thaws her heart and she comes back to life. This selfless love helps Elsa realize that love is the key to controlling her powers, not fear. She embraces Anna, and her love for her sister finally allows her to reverse the eternal winter and restore summer to Arendelle. Elsa and Anna's relationship is fully restored, and Elsa reclaims her throne, now able to rule openly with her powers.
Three years later, Elsa hears a mysterious voice calling to her from the north. She can't ignore the pull of the voice, which ultimately leads her to discover more about her past, her powers, and the history of Arendelle. Elsa journeys into the Enchanted Forest, accompanied by Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven. There, she confronts the elemental spirits and uses her magic to calm them, learning more about the truth behind the forest's curse. She learns that her grandfather, King Runeard, betrayed the Northuldra people, a deceit that angered the spirits and caused a magical mist to trap everyone inside. Elsa realizes her parents' tragic journey was an attempt to find answers to this very same mystery. Wanting to keep Anna safe, she decides to continue on alone.
Elsa eventually follows the voice across the Dark Sea to Ahtohallan, a mythical river of memory. She rides the Nokk, a water spirit, through the sea to reach her destination. At Ahtohallan, she discovers that she herself is the fifth spirit, a bridge between the magical world and the human one. She also sees the full truth of her grandfather's treacherous actions and the cause of the conflict that has plagued her family and kingdom for generations.
After confronting the truth, Elsa decides she must right the wrongs of the past. However, as she has gone deep into Ahtohallan, she begins to freeze to death and sends a message to Anna informing her of the truth before freezing completely. Anna realizes she must destroy the dam built by their grandfather to restore the forest's balance. Elsa, now revived, thaws herself out and, with Anna's help, she saves Arendelle from the dam's collapse. In the end, she chooses to remain in the Enchanted Forest, embracing her role as the fifth spirit and protector of the magical world, while passing the throne of Arendelle to Anna.
However, as time passes, Elsa becomes more and more obsessed with her love for Anna. She believes despite everything Anna did for her kingdom, she is still "that girl who believed in fairy tale joys". She eventually confronts Anna, and berates her for thinking she knows what "true power looks like." She tells Anna that she does not understand darkness, and she can "have her throne" but only in a world of eternal winter where she can never be hurt again.
Personality[]
This version of Elsa started off calm, reserved, regal and - unlike her sister - graceful and poised. Beneath this cool and collected appearance, however, Elsa is quite turbulent; in truth, the Snow Queen was, for a majority of her young life, troubled by her abilities, a feeling which stems from a traumatic incident as a child.
Eventually, she grows to accept herself, and after Anna sacrifices herself for her, she and her rekindle their relationship. However, Elsa's love for Anna causes her to fall into darkness, and she believes she must do anything to keep her sister "safe", even destroying the world for Anna to be free. It is possible she is just villainous and is using her love for Anna to justify her wicked deeds.
