Nothing big. I did it because i'm a Void, like you pointed out. That's all. Just like Hajime was, i am Mikado's co-conspirator and ally too. I'm sorry if you expected something saintly from me.
~ Emma's Void reveal.
Emma: Betrayed... yes, Hajime died, we weren't told that we would die for real, either. From our perspective, itr's true that Mikado betrayed us.
Sora: Then why? Why did you commit murder?
Emma: It's too late for us to turn back. Us Voids... We cannot be saved even if we decide to abandon the plan at this point. If we antagonized Mikado and helped you escape this island, there would be absolutely nothing left for us.
~ Emma explaining why she committed murder.

Emma Magorobi is a supporting antagonist in the Korean Danganronpa fangame Super Danganronpa Another 2. She's the Ultimate Actress.

She is one of the members of Void, an organization who wants to resurrect Utsuro by replicating the Killing Game he experienced. She murders Kokoro Mitsume in Chapter 2 to play the role of a culprit.

Personality[]

In her "normal participant" facade, Emma was a cheerful and friendly person. She was always working hard to escape from the Killing Game and find out the truth, although she did have moments of being distrustful. As a celebrity, she didn't like people seeing her as a person of higher status and was surprised at Sora for wanting to befriend her for reasons other than money.

While it's implied that some of her friendship and kindness was genuine, for the most part her personality was an act. As the Ultimate Actress, Emma was great at faking emotions and used that to her advantage in order to create a difficult class trial and trick most into thinking she's innocent.

Like most Voids, she's not intentionally evil and lamented the fact that she had to do these actions. She just saw no choice other than aid the Killing Game, as that was the only way to prevent her life from going back to misery. She also showed remorse in her last moments and even encouraged the participants to fight against Mikado’s plan.

Biography[]

Background[]

As a child, Emma had an abusive father. He would always demand that she was obedient and would use his cigarettes to scar her arms if she refused to comply. She thought about committing suicide or escaping, but couldn't bring herself to do either.

At some point, she was blessed with Utsuro's Divine Luck and her life was vastly improved. She was adopted by two unnamed people, who actually treated her with love and care. Thanks to her luck, she would also grow up to become a talented and famous actress, even acting in the Harry Potter movies.

She would later team up with Hajime, Iroha and Nikei to form an organization known as Void, so they could work together to find Utsuro. They were then contacted by Mikado Sannoji, who revealed that Utsuro was dead and that his luck would eventually run out as a result, which would bring his blessed people back to misery. However, he also revealed that there was a way to bring him back: Make his identical vessel, Yuki Maeda, experience a Killing Game.

The Voids hesitated since the plan involved murder, but they had to accept as there was no other alternative. They voluntarily entered the Neo World Program's simulation, where the plan was going to take place. Mikado explained to them that they had to kill in a certain order, to replicate the events of the Killing Game experienced by the class of 79.

Prologue[]

Within the simulation, the participants woke up on an island, unaware of where they are or what is happening. The Voids, however, knew everything, but kept quiet so they could pretend to be normal participants.

Everyone later faced Monocrow, who explained the situation: They were trapped in a field trip that was gonna last forever, and the only way to escape was by committing murder. Mikado tried to play the role of a hero, but that failed when Rei and Teruya invaded the simulation and revealed his identity to everyone. After he got rid of them, Mikado explained that he was gonna proceed with the plan, even if everyone now knows he is the Mastermind.

Chapter 1[]

The next day, Monocrow reunited everyone to explain the rules of the Killing Game: Simply killing someone is not enough, the culprit also needs to get away with their crime in a class trial. If they manage to get away with it, they can escape the island and everybody else is executed, but if they get found out, the murderer gets executed.

As part of the Void's plan, Hajime murdered Yuri Kagarin and a class trial happened. Eventually everyone figured out it was Hajime and voted for him. As a Void, Hajime thought he was gonna survive even if he lost, but in an act of betrayal, Mikado got him executed anyway, much to the terror of the other Voids. Mikado also admitted to everyone that there are three secret traitors among them, but didn't reveal who they are.

Chapter 2[]

Daily Life[]

Emma, Iroha and Nikei went to Mikado's room to yell at him for killing Hajime despite promising not to. They were furious, but Mikado put them in their place after reminding them that they are screwed without his plan and that nothing good will happen if they try to rebel.

Following the reveal, most participants were paranoid about the secret traitors. The Voids themselves also pretended to be paranoid to avoid suspicion. While the Monocruise was sailing to the second island, Mikado introduced Teruya to the group as a new participant, while insisting he's not a traitor.

Emma kept trying to convince Kokoro to join the group, but it never worked, as the latter preferred to work alone and stay away from potential Voids. On the second island, during a concert played by the Otonokoji twins, Kokoro told Emma that she knows about her status as a Void, but wanted to help, with Emma insisting that there's nothing she can do about it. Kokoro made the mistake of mentioning Emma's father, which caused her to have an emotional outburst and attack Kokoro. While unintentional, Emma took it as an opportunity to commit a murder.

Killing Kokoro[]

She returned to the concert and pretended to be just as surprised as the others when they found an unconscious Kokoro. Emma lied that Kokoro had a fever and took her to her room. After the others had left, Emma cut off one of Kokoro's fingers (to use it as a tool to turn on her Handbook) and trapped her in the refrigerator, while changing the settings to “instant freeze”. It would still take days for Kokoro to die, so using her clothes and a wig she took from the museum, Emma dressed as Kokoro and pretended to be her. She also hired Syobai to do a medical check-in and lie to the others that she has an endemic disease that makes her unable to talk (that way she doesn’t have to imitate the voice). Syobai was suspicious of the fact she didn’t use her voice to talk to him but didn’t think much at the time.

While pretending to be Kokoro, Emma used a tablet to communicate, and told the others to visit her three times per day to give her meals, but said that they can only enter as long as they’re with Teruya (the person Kokoro trusted the most). Meanwhile, the real Kokoro inside the refrigerator used ice icicles to form a dying message before succumbing to the cold. On the afternoon of the second day, Emma removed Kokoro’s corpse from the refrigerator and cut off her arms and legs and then threw them away, to make it so that the others wouldn’t realize she was missing a finger. She then covered the room in dry ice and put a barrel with a notice saying “liquid nitrogen” as a red herring, and finally left the room.

The next day, Sora, Teruya and Yuki went to visit Kokoro, but realized that she wouldn't answer. They asked Monocrow to open the door, which he did since it was a situation involving a murder. After finding Kokoro’s corpse, the investigation for the second class trial began. Being “very close with Kokoro”, Emma pretended to be devastated and swore vengeance against the culprit.

Class Trial[]

The class trial was very confusing for everyone due to the “locked room mystery” nature of the murder, and how someone could have killed Kokoro if she only allowed people to enter if they were with Teruya. Kanade and Sora eventually traced it to Emma due to the dying message, which left everyone even more confused as Emma didn’t seem the type to kill someone. Emma was very offended and cried a lot, but eventually it became clear that she was the murderer. It was especially suspicious that she and Kokoro could not coexist at the same time, and even Syobai admitted that he was paid to lie about the disease.

After everyone voted for her and Monocrow admitted that the verdict was correct, Emma admitted that she was also a Void, although she was not supposed to be the second culprit. She explained that, despite feeling betrayed by Mikado, there was nothing she could gain from antagonizing him and that assisting the Killing Game was the only way she and the other Voids could survive. She asked to be executed and told the participants that they should fight against the Killing Game. In her last moments in the trail room, she begged for mercy, but was still executed by Monocrow.

She was trapped in a room and mutilated to death by several robots dressed as famous horror villains.
