Phillip Whittebane (Better known as Emperor Belos) is the main antagonist of The Owl House prequel fanfic, Phillip and Caleb.
He is a future version of Phillip seeking to kill his past self and his past brother. He is currently the main antagonist of Season 1 and will return in future seasons.
Personality[]
His past version (one of the protagonists) is shown to be shy, yet polite and helpful. He loves playing with Caleb and making pranks.
His future self is shown to be the opposite, instead being very sociopathic and uncaring. Despite this, he is much more intelligent and down to Earth than Phillip and holds a grudge against magic, as opposed to Phillip’s cautiousness. He also has a weird resentment towards his past self, Phillip, and his brother, Caleb. This causes him to constantly stalk and attempt to kill them, though the reason for this is unknown.

Origins[]
Since he is Phillip’s future self, he has the same backstory, being born with an abusive father and a brother named Caleb. They were also brought to The Boiling Isles by Mary to escape an angry mob. The rest of his story isn’t brought to light, though it’s implied that he murdered Future Caleb for marrying Mary. He also overthrew The Boiling Isles and murdered countless witches before being defeated by another human named Luz. He was brought to the past by a mysterious entity, who saved a small part of him before sending him after his past brother and self.
