Emperor Dorrek of the Kree Empire of Fatichum, is the secondary antagonist of the 2025 Marvel based fanfilm/presentation Adam & Eve.
He is the ruler of the kingdom in which Kree took from humanity called Fatichum, a place in some unknown lands of Europe. He plots to use a volcanic weapon, able to destroy the world, starting with the US, with Russia and China's help in a WW3 scenario. He is also Skreet's situational ally as well as the second arch-nemesis of both Adam Warlock and Eve Bacian, being also the former's boss for a temporary moment.
He is portrayed by Josh Brolin in his first villainous fanon role.
History[]
Emperor Dorrek was originally a warlord working for the Kree Empire, mainly his superiors The Supreme Intelligence and the deceased Prince Yon-Rogg. He even took orders from Ronan the Accuser, and he was underneath Minerva's position as well. However, he was very ambitious for infinite power and he personally took over the human land of Fatichum inside Europe's unknown areas of land, becoming the emperor of a united city governed by Kree and containing Skrulls as local slaves of the Kree, making himself the supreme being around there. He made a deal with Skreet so he could have more power, but in return, she expected from him to hand over Adam Warlock. He and his guards eventually catch and handle Adam, bringing him straight to Skreet as their common prisoner. After Skreet and Adam confront each other and she decides in the end to let him off so he'll suffer more before he dies, cursing him in the process unless he proves himself as a "worthy" warlock (which he eventually does because he redeems himself and obtains Loki's powers for a good purpose), the satisfied Dorrek orders his men to follow Adam and keep an eye on him, because in secret, Dorrek wanted to use Adam for his own goals.
Dorrek discusses afterwards matters with his superior Ronan the Accuser, revealing him his plans to take over the world with his volcanic weapon for himself and the other leaders of the Kree's forces, under the watch of their chief who is the Supreme Intelligence. Ronan accepts his plans but hopes highly for no failures or setbacks.
Emperor Dorrek later confronts Adam with his guards and Skreet's assistance, before he personally bombs up the mutant base as his first target and "test" for his volcanic mega-weapon. Dorrek then paralyses Adam and takes him by force and magic as a prisoner and subject to his headquarters at Fatichum. He offers Adam an alliance, telling him he is willing to help him against Skreet, meaning he will betray the dark fairy. Adam at first agrees and helps him against Eve, who comes to rescue him. However, when Eve reveals how much she fell in love with him despite her orders from Magneto to kill him earlier, Adam overpowers and injures Dorrek with an attack, reuniting with Eve and gaining full redemption for eternity. After that, Minerva comes to fight Dorrek alone, telling both Adam and Eve to run off and avoid danger. She manages to finally kill Dorrek during their death battle.
Personality[]
Emperor Dorrek is a power hungry mastermind, who is very strategic and clever in comparison to the other Kree leaders. However, in comparison with Ronan, Yon-Rogg and even Minerva, Dorrek held a rather mediocre ranking, competing for power with his equals such as the Demon Druid who was another officer and warlord. However, despite his lack of high-rankings in his race, he still intends to keep lots of power and authority rather for himself and not for his superiors. This is also evidence of how egoistic he is.
Dorrek is sadistic, enjoying torture and mass murder, even been visibly excited when he held Adam as a prisoner with his magical powers and keeping him under his control before offering him an alliance, which was followed by his ultimate downfall.
Trivia[]
- Emperor Dorrek is based on Dorek VII from the Marvel comic books.
- He is heavily based on the original version of Thanos from the MCU, sharing the same actor and similar goals for an interesting reason.
