Ennard is the main protagonist of Crawling by CG5 and Dolvondo, based on the 2016 indie horror game, Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location.

Much like its original incarnation, it is an amalgamation of the Funtime Animatronics that intended on escaping Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rentals by stealing Michael Afton's identity. This version of Ennard, however, has more of its own character rather than just being a puppet for Baby, Ballora, Funtime Freddy, Bon-Bon, and Funtime Foxy, instead being depicted as a manipulative mastermind behind the five Funtime animatronics.

It is voiced by Charlie Green, who also voiced Roy Gribbleston in Father's Day.

Biography[]

Not really much is known about Ennard's past, but it appears that it was originally built up of parts originally belonging to the Funtime Animatronics and served as the mastermind behind them.

Ennard is first seen with the Funtime Animatronics on their stage, offering them to help it escape Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rentals within the upcoming nights by scooping Michael Afton and using his body as a skin suit, telling them to "release the evil within". As the Funtimes chase Michael over the next nights, their appearances would begin to become more twisted and broken, showing how truly far they had come.

Eventually, Ennard and the other Funtimes would lure Michael into the scooping room, where Ennard would accuse him of trying to destroy them out of pain and strife. Soon, Ennard would scoop Michael, and alongside the other Funtimes, they would crawl into Michael's skin and use him as their new disguise.

While the song ends, it can be assume Ennard successfully escaped Circus Baby's using Michael's body.

Personality[]

Unlike its original counterpart who was solely just a puppet for the other Funtime Animatronics, Ennard is depicted as a manipulative yet intelligent animatronic who will use others to help benefit its goals, as shown when it offers the Funtimes to help it by releasing the evil within themselves, calling them its "animated friends". In reality, it appears that Ennard just needed them to help it hunt down Michael.

Ennard genuinely believes itself to be evil, calling itself a liar and repeatedly states that it "wants to release the evil within", however, it doesn't really seem to care. It actually seems to be pretty well-aware of that fact, fully acknowledging right before scooping Michael Afton that all it was doing was essentially ruining his life, telling him not to cry as he would become history.

Trivia[]

According to Dolvondo in the comments section of Crawling, the lyric where Ennard calls itself a snake was a reference to his song "Return of the Black Mamba" which he had made when he was twelve.
