Eobard Thawne is the main antagonist of Demigah's It Was Me, Barry: Petty Compilation. He serves as a parody of the Reverse Flash and plays on Thawne's pettiness in an darkly humorous fashion. He constantly ruins Barry's life through ridiculous means such as sneaking his "Eobard sauce" into things that Barry, Iris, and the rest of Barry's loved ones eat/drink, which disgusts Barry to no end.

He is voiced by the comedy YouTuber Demigah, who voices every other character in this saga.

Appearance[]

Thawne has the exact same appearance as he does in the DC Animated Movie of the Flashpoint considering that the clips used to record his videos came from the Animated Flashpoint movie, which is based on one scene of where Thawne and Barry Allen are on the roof of a building during an apocalypse.

Personality[]

He is very similar to his comic and animated counterparts, being a cruel supervillain with absolutely no sense of mercy or compassion whatsoever. However, this version of Thawne's pettiness is heavily exaggerated and is played purely for laughs as his acts are so comedically petty that intends to make the audience laugh and he is not taken seriously in universe (unlike his original adaptation). If he was not a complete joke, he would be a Complete Monster for how disgusting his crimes, especially his serial rape, are towards Barry and his loved ones. However, he might have some standards against Ezra Miller because of Ezra's crimes of kidnapping and by also noting that he is just petty rather than completely insane.

In short, he's too petty to die and is card-carrying about it.

Biography[]

Eobard Thawne is the archenemy of Barry Allen and he has a relatively similar backstory to how he does in the comics.

Upon traveling back in time, he started a relationship with Barry's mother, Nora, behind Henry Allen's back. He later killed Nora, and left Henry at the mercy of the police, who believed him to be responsible for the crime.

He abused his ability to travel through time repeatedly, even using disguises to commit sexual crimes against both Iris West and Barry, who she had married. He later settled on a plan of using deception to make Iris bear his child while he himself replaces Barry, both as her husband and as the Flash. All to make Barry Allen's life slightly worse every day for his own amusement.

After beating Barry nearly to death and mortifying him with the details of his exploits, Eobard is shot in the head by Thomas Wayne. This fails to stop him, as the Negative Speed Force brings him back to life. Eobard leaves Barry, announcing his intention to find Iris again. His main goal is also to win over the n-word pass out of spite for Demigah rejecting the N-word pass from Thawne, which caused him to begin his reveal of everything petty to him. Eventually, Demigah gives him the n-word pass (obviously a meme) and the Reverse Flash gloats in Barry's face about the slur that he will be saying.
