Erica Connor, known as The Armored One, initially appeared as a supporting character in the 2019 film Brightburn. She appears as the secondary antagonist in the fanfiction Superman and Brightburn: The Adventure Begins.
She had temporarily been a worker at the local diner until Brainiac revived her and turned her into his personal slave. She is the mother of Caitlyn Connor, the wife of Mr. Connor, and the former right-hand woman of Brainiac.

Superman and Brightburn: The Adventure Begins[]
Encasement in the armor[]
After what happened to Erica at the diner, Brainiac found her, then after taking her back to his moon base, he resorted to torturing and brainwashing before putting her in the armor and dubbing her The Armored One, Brainiac sent her to Earth to deal with Superman.
Abduction of her daughter[]
After The Big T's death, Brainiac orders The Armored One to neutralize Mr. Connor. As that is happening, Brainiac is to abduct Caitlyn and take her to his moon base. And as he does so, Brainiac uses his ship to go to to the house and does the abduction. They leave the scene, but unknown to either of them, Brightburn and Superman are following in pursuit of them.
Battle on Brainiac's moon base and redemption[]
Superman and Brightburn then arrived at the moon base, intent on saving Caitlyn. As Brightburn is fighting The Armored One, who turned out to be Erica Connor. Later on, Superman elects to take both Erica and Caitlyn out of the base, Brightburn is left to deal with Brainiac. During the battle, Brightburn uses his superspeed to tear off Brainiac's right arm. Despite that, the Coluan continues to battle Brightburn with efficiency. This continues until Brightburn throws Brainiac into the base's incinerator, where it starts up, killing Brainiac as the base explodes.
First kiss with Caitlyn Connor[]
After returning to Earth, Superman flew back to Metropolis, and after putting on a set of new clothes, Brandon came out of the alleyway, where Erica and Caitlyn forgave him for what he did previously. As Brandon was about to leave, Caitlyn softly touches him on his right shoulder with her good hand, signaling there's something she wants to do that requires eye contact with him. After Caitlyn touches Brandon's face with her good hand, they kiss in front of the alleyway. When Caitlyn let go of Brandon after the kiss, they went to their respective homes, with Brandon going to his aunt's house. Merilee McNichol was at the door, and she had heard about what Brainiac tried to do, and that his plan failed. After she asked him about Brightburn being a hero, Brandon nods yes, not wanting to give away his superhero identity.
4 years later[]
Now in high school, Brandon, who was pardoned for his past crimes 3 hours after Brainiac's defeat, had proven himself a great student. 1 month into his freshman year at Brightburn High, he and Caitlyn started a relationship, which their bond had flourished since Brandon had returned to school. Royce continued to bully Brandon until Caitlyn told the principal on Royce. As for the city of Brightburn, Kansas, all wrongdoers are incarcerated with Brightburn defeating them and leaving them to the police. As Brightburn, he had been pawning off what the criminals stole with the sole intent of using the money to donate to the Ronald McDonald Charity House. Brandon hears of the prom that is set that same night. He has his suit with a dark blue bowtie, as well as his black lace boots. At the Connor household, Caitlyn has her dark blue dress, her white high heels, and her corsage that Erica got for her daughter. Erica is last seen as she drops off Brandon and Caitlyn at the school.
Personality[]
Erica, before being brainwashed and after her redemption, was a loving and caring mother to Caitlyn.

- Erica Connor is the fifth h2023graduate Wattpad villain to be redeemed, the fourth being Michael Cunningham, the third being Alvin Marsh, the second being Ellie Creed, and the first being Georgie Denbrough.
- Even as h2023graduate was in the early planning for The Armored One's inclusion, he did not want to disclose her identity until close to the end of the fanfiction.
