Error Sans is the main protagonist (as Geno) turned antagonist of A Alternate Future Timeline of the Undertale AU Aftertale. He is an AU hunter, constantly hunting AUs and destroying them from left and right, except the ones he likes. For example, in Outertale he prisons Frisk and Flowey and goes on a murder spree.

Error Sans was created as a result of a player messing with the game files too much, resulting in him glitching out. He found himself trapped in the white void between game files (which CORE Frisk cannot see). He went insane in there, until he found out how to manipulate the game's code to open portals to various AUs.
Another (Presumed) Origin of Error is that he was once Aftertale Sans, A Result Of Sans Injecting Determination And Entering The Save Screen. He was Stuck For A Long Time, But Eventually Got Out, And Played With His Determination. This Sent Him Into The Anti Void, And He Stayed In There, Slowly Becoming More Glitched, More Powerful, And More Insane, To The Point Where Went He Found His Way Out, By Manipulating The Code Around Him, He Became Twisted, And Chose To Destroy All “Anomalies”.
Appearance[]
Error's design is mostly inspired by Mooching Hobo's design who is from an entirely separate comic, Gloomverse, which may explain the similarities between the two. Error is a glitchy skeleton, with his entire torso being black, while his legs are red. His metacarpals are black, while his proximal phalanges are red and his middle and distal phalanges are yellow. His skull is black and his eye sockets are red. His right eye socket appears to be more squinted than his right. He has a small, white pupil in his right eye socket, and a larger pupil going from yellow to blue to black in his left. There are light blue tear-like markings coming from his eyes to his chin.
He wears a black coat with pieces with blue gradients stitched together on the sleeves with yellow pockets. Underneath he wears a red shirt, which is possibly a sweater. He wears wide black pants, which are uneven and unmatching at the bottom, the left has a blue gradient and is stitched together, the right appears to possibly be a cuff of blue stitched to the pants. He has a long blue scarf, and mismatched black sandals. Apparently, he steals clothes then sews them together to make his outfits. Being Highly Glitched, his colors are inverted.

Error!Sans wants to destroy AUs. He is not very friendly towards others, except for the ones he “likes”, in which they get along very well. On the other hand, he also hates Ink Sans and has a rivalry with him.
In his AU, he is bent on destroying AUs which he considers 'glitches' or 'mistakes' in the multiverse. One thing that is not completely clear is his alignment. At first, it might seem easy as he fits evil, and he clearly doesn't have love of death like chaotic evil people do, but that's where things stop and has tried to stop bad people in the past.
He seems like neutral evil because he doesn't care about hurting people to get what he wants, but shown in Underverse he seems to have a sense of honor and never breaks the truce he made with ink ever.
Only breaking it when he finds out ink broke it first. This is something a lawful evil person would do, and Error does it in a way that a Lawful Evil person would. So, it's unclear if he is neutral evil or lawful evil because both would make sense to a degree.
