Evil Dan is a major protagonist in many memes on the DWPoop Shorts YouTube channel. He is a serial killer who believes the only point of being alive is to kill others and that nobody needs soup more than him, leading him to steal soup and even destroy entire alien armadas to prevent soup from being destroyed. He serves to parody Dan Lewis’ kind hearted behaviour in the original Doctor Who by making him instead extremely petty and evil.
In his first appearance, EVIL DAN, Dan begins by taking candy from a child in a witch costume on Halloween, before grabbing their box of soup cans and telling them to shoo. It then cuts to Diane telling him he should stop, with him replying that he doesn’t think he will and that he’s good at it. There is then a flashback, showing Dan stealing more soup. It cuts back to the present, as he shows his ideology: "What’s the point of being alive if it’s not to make others die?" It turns shows him later that night taking candy from children who came to Trick or Treat at his house, before he tells them to go away and opens up his fridge to reveal he has stolen tons of food.
His second appearance is in What’s the point of staying?, where the Tenth Doctor says "I don’t want to go" before Dan asks him what the point of being alive is, causing him to regenerate. The third meme featuring Dan is EVIL DAN is a bad loser, which begins with the Thirteenth Doctor, Yaz and Evil Dan trying to knock over cans with a ball, when he loses, causing him to hit the cans with the racket. Yaz thinks "What the fuck", to which Dan repeats his catchphrase on being alive, attempting to hit the Doctor with said racket, leading to her continuing with "What the absolute fuck".
Dan returns in EVIL DAN eliminates Ryan Sinclair, in which Ryan is attempting to ride a bike with the support of his mother, when he asks once again what the point of being alive is, leading to Ryan riding the bike off the cliff as his mother shouts at him not to. After the video fades out, Graham O’Brien can be heard saying "Don’t make me do the old soft shoe shuffle", threatening Dan. In EVIL DAN eliminates the entire sontaran war effort, Evil Dan grabs a giant spoon and repeatedly kills Sontaran soldiers before pressing the self destroy the button, crashing the spaceship into several buildings and killing hundreds as he slides out of the ship and lands in the water. While the Sontarans are trying to wipe out humanity, the description states this was pragmatic to prevent the destruction of soup. In EVIL DAN war of the sontarans alternate ending, we see another example of him pragmatically defeating villains for the sake of soup, as he knocks out or kills Swarm and Azure with the same massive spoon to prevent them from ending time. In EVIL DAN takes out his vlog competition, Ryan Sinclair is shown doing a vlog when Dan appears behind him and bashes him on the head with the spoon, causing blood to splatter the walls. Police sirens can be heard as Dan says some of his catchphrases while glitching out.
In EVIL DAN absorbs the time vortex, Dan appears in a TARDIS while the Ninth Doctor is confronting the Daleks, having absorbed the powers of the Time Vortex by bonding with the TARDIS. A Dalek blasts at him, but he blocks it with a spoon. He then uses his powers to erase the letters from the logo for "EVILDAN Corporation" when the Doctor pleads him to stop, but he responds by using his powers to destroy the Daleks. The Dalek Emperor screams that he cannot die, but he erases the Dalek Ship, killing all of them. He then decides not to revive Jack Harkness and steals the Doctor’s TARDIS, using it to search for soup, as the video ends with him laughing. The next meme, EVIL DAN kills the ninth doctor who, begins with the Ninth Doctor, Rose and Jack Harkness battling a Dalek, when Jack blasts a laser beam at it, prompting Dan to jump in and deflect it towards the Doctor, who is shot and killed. He turns around to see a Dalek, who blasts him, but he is able to survive the blast unharmed and explodes the Dalek.
In EVIL DAN kills the 10th doctor, The Doctor and Rose are seen running towards each other when Dan appears from behind a car and blasts the Doctor with a laser. Jack Harkness appears attempting to blast Dan back, when Dan shoots Jack, exploding him. The next video is rather vague in nature, as it only shows Missy looking at a man who reveals who is Dan in a disguise. The following video, however, depicts perhaps Dan’s most heinous action to date, as thousands of people stand at the base of a mountain as he appears at the top, saying his catchphrase which causes a massive blast, massacring them. EVIL DAN is not bradley walsh is mostly a variation on EVIL DAN eliminates Ryan Sinclair, with him shouting that he isn’t Bradley Walsh instead of saying his catchphrase, although Ryan does not die in this version. In EVIL DAN sends a message to his dog, Evil Dan is shown to have painted his catchphrase giant to get the attention of Karvanista, who responds "What the fuck is that". In EVIL DAN distracts the daleks, he attempts to jump around a Dalek to prevent it from shooting anybody, but the shots fired shoot and kill the Doctor, Donna, Jack and Rose, before another hits Dan. The fact he continues appearing combined with the fact he was previously able to resist Dalek gunfire implies he survived. He makes a small cameo in Doctor Who 60th Trailer but it's BONKERS, but his next full appearance is a year later in EVIL DAN meets the Fourteenth Doctor. He is shown taking boxes of soup when the Doctor attempts to help thinking he is moving them, before seeing his face and realising what he’s doing, running away.
