The Evil Team is the main antagonistic/protagonist villain faction in the Social Deduction Roblox game Flicker.
It is a group of murderous conspirators who must use their abilities and social skills to find the other members of the same team and together kill all members of the Good Team.
Summary[]
The Evil Team is one of the three teams in the game and the rival to the Good Team. However, unlike the Good Team which is portrayed as heroic, The Evil Team is a conspirative group who uses methods such as murder, incrimination and sabotage in order to defeat the Good Team. As their rival, The Evil Team needs to successfully kill all members of the Good Team in order to win the game.
Despite being a team, their members won't know each other at the start of the match and can end up unknowingly killing each other despite being on the same team. So each member also has the secondary goal of using their abilities to find the other members of the Evil Team so they can team up to defeat the Good Team.
Due to the social deduction nature of the game, members of the Evil Team will often pretend to be a member of the Good Team in hopes of not getting killed through the elimination. They can also pretend to be Investigative roles to their advantage in order to incriminate members of the Good Team and have them killed through elimination as well.
At the start of each game, three random players will selected to be part of the Evil Team, they can also buy gamepasses or scrolls to increase their chances of being a evil role.
Members[]
The Evil Team consists of five roles, with only three being availible in each game. These roles are also unique so there cannot be, for example, two murderers or two scouts in the same game.
They are the following:
- Murderer: The Leader of the Evil Team. He is a Serial Killer who is able to select a player every night/flick, the selected player will then be killed and mutilated a few seconds later. He is the most dangerous and useful member of the team as he is able to easily kill any member of the Good Team. He also cannot be Witched and can only be killed through elimination or by the Clown.
- Assassin: Similar to the Murderer, they have the ability to kill a player, but only once per game. However, their attack is unstoppable meaning they can kill anyone, including people who are under the protection of a medic. Unlike other roles, the Assassin will know exactly who the Murderer is at the start of the game.
- Dark Psychic: The Evil version of the Psychic. They have a ability to read a player every night and know the exact alignment of that player's role (Good, Evil or Neutral). They are extremely useful for finding other members of the Evil Team.
- Scout: the Evil version of the Spy. Every night, they can select a player and, after everybody else uses their ability, the Scout will know the identity of everyone who used their ability on the selected player.
- Witch: Every night, the Witch is able to select a player, that player will be unable to use their ability during that night, and they will also know they have been "Witched". They are useful for blocking the ability of important members of the Good Team.
Mechanics[]
- As stated above, the members of the Evil Team win if they successfully kill all members of the Good Team. A evil player will also instantly win in a 1v1 against a member of the Good Team.
- They have no affliation or rivalry towards the Neutral Team and most of the time they can win together if both concluded their goals.
- At the start, all members of the Evil Team won't know each other (Except for the Assassin who will know exactly who the Murderer is) and must find out each other's identities by using their investigative abilities.
- Due to the nature of not knowing each other at the start, they can unintentionally harm each other. For example a Murderer can kill a member of the Evil Team and a witch can unintentionally block the ability of a evil player.
- The Evil Team only exists in Flicker Mode and Anonymous Mode. In Classic Mode, there is only the Murderer.
