Entity 9 or better known as Facelings are a species of humanoid entities found within the Backrooms. They are seen in various different tales and have even played the role of an antagonist.
While a majority of them are docile to wanderers, some Facelings are hostile and have even tried to murder those they may encounter. They are also common and are likely to be one of the first entities anyone may encounter within the walls of the seemingly infinite labyrinth.
Biology[]
Facelings are very similar to humans, having only a few but distinct characteristics. Their faces lack any features a normal human would have and are replaced by nothing but skin.
The age group of a Faceling often (but not always) determines how one would act. Child Facelings are mischievous and sometimes homicidal, Adult Facelings are docile and friendly, any other type of Faceling is either passive, or out for blood.
Adult Facelings[]
One of the most common types of Facelings, they are usually docile, but will attack if provoked.
Child Facelings[]
Smaller and more aggressive than Adult Facelings, they are known to be mischievous as they sometimes pull pranks on survivors. However, some of them may try to kill any wanderer they encounter.
Pink Dress Facelings[]
A sub-species of the Child Faceling, they are very dangerous and should be kept at a distance.
Old Man Facelings[]
A Faceling that appears to be an elderly type of Faceling. They aren't very threating and are even happy to be near wanderers. They are slower than other types of Facelings.
Polygonal Facelings[]
A Faceling that has apparently Noclipped. They display the personality of an Adult Faceling, but their physical appearance is polygonal.
Nude Facelings[]
Facelings with no clothing. They will run away when spotted.
Shadow Facelings[]
Facelings resembling Silhouettes, they are very hostile, but only have the strength of an average person. Despite the name, they are corporeal.
False Facelings[]
Adult Facelings with facial features. These features will usually be fragmental, but sometimes they might even have complete features.
Indoctrinated Facelings[]
Facelings who have been indoctrinated by Jerry. They will try to get others to be indoctrinated as well.
