Sephiroth, also known as False Sephiroth, is a recurring antagonist of the Australian adult-animated web series SMG4, serving as the secondary antagonist of Part 2 of The Anime Arc and the final antagonist of SMG4: WHAT IF...?.
History[]
When challenged by Luigi, Tari, Mario, SMG4, Fishy Boopkins, and Saiko, Francis summoned the anime character Sephiroth and had him fight alongside him. He easily defeated the majority of them until he saw Desti with Inkweaver and began to attack her, but Saiko managed to distract him with the help of Tari, and they attacked him until he was killed. But Francis found the time to resurrect another Sephiroth, and the Sephiroth begins to kill, first stabbing Desti in the back. After Sephiroth killed Desti, Francis created about 100 Sephiroths and began attacking the entire gang. However, Bob, Swagmaster, and Chris break in with a tank and kill all Sephiroth replicas.
He makes a reappearance in SMG4: WHAT IF...? in the scenario "What if Desti never died?" Instead of succumbing to his blade, Desti quickly dodges and knocks him into a wall. Desti would continue to save Meggy as the two had adventures and fun together, even winning the Splatfest together. False Sephiroth, now scarred on his right eye, would return and kill Meggy in vengeance, leaving Desti heartbroken. She would then track him down to a futuristic city and fight him.

- The real Sephiroth appeared in the music video The Ultimate Smash Bros, whereas this Sephiroth is a Francis creation.
- Despite playing a minor role, False Sephiroth is more well-known than most Anime Replicas due to his infamous role as Desti's killer.
