Faygun France is one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside The Snake) of the 2023 Pixar Fanverse feature The Incredibles.

He is a brutal mercenary who works as the chief enforcer of both The Snake and his son Alpine. After betraying The Snake together with his son, he decided to go for a last manhunt in Eden City and kill everyone, even willing to betray Alpine and to achieve complete world dominance.

He is portrayed by Ray Stevenson.

History[]

Faygun France was a mercenary for hire, who from the start intended to take over the world for himself. After The Snake/Dantifer White was imprisoned with his son Sean White, they both hired Faygun France for their scheme. However, unknowingly to Dantifer, his son was planning to betray him with Faygun staying on his side. Also, Faygun was not loyal to anyone, as he wanted to gain trust from both of them and later get rid of them and have the world and especially Eden City for himself.

Faygun was at his first appearance called into the prison cell of The Snake and Sean White, as he received orders from The Snake, who told him to try and kill Bob Parr on the island. As part of their plans, Faygun seemingly kidnaps Mirage and takes her to the center of a volcano nearby. Bob Parr flies to the volcano to save her, only to be beaten hard in a rough battle against The Snake, and even worse, to discover that Mirage, Faygun France and Alpine all served as The Snake's henchmen and close allies.

After Bob is taken captive by an Omnidroid, Faygun blames Mirage for not being loyal, remarking that the kidnapping was all staged but he could harm her for real. When Mirage goes to breathe and secretly decides to save Bob's life, Faygun accompanies The Snake and Sean in a forest area on the island. Sean betrays The Snake and reveals his supervillain identity as Alpine to his father. Seemingly staying on Alpine's side for a while, Faygun waits until Alpine leaves The Snake to be killed by his Omnidroid, and he tries to backstab The Snake with a sharp knife, revealing that he wants to control the world by himself and even to betray Alpine at some stage. However, Bob Parr kills the Omnidroid and fights off Faygun. Seemingly, Faygun was about to finish Bob Parr off. However, The Snake shoots at him green lightning, and tells him to eat snake venom before knocking him out completely. Faygun eventually regains consciousness, and he follows the heroes to Eden City on a gigantic helicopter, while he is equipped with a very strong RPG. While the heroes fight against Alpine and his army of robots, Faygun finds them and shoots a rocket at them. Luckily, they all managed to avoid the rocket and it's massive explosion. Alpine tried to escape, finding himself to be France's first attempted target. However, Mirage uses her drone to crush his helicopter, finally killing the ruthless mercenary off screen.

Personality[]

Faygun France is a ruthless, megalomanical, very brutal and chaotic mercenary leader, who in truth is not loyal to any boss. He is firstly hired by The Snake, who was Alpine's pawn, and when he pretended to side with Alpine and worked for him during the entire time on the island, Faygun was actually planning to betray him so he could rule the world himself. This shows how egoistic and merciless Faygun is. He is not only a criminal, but he is a very bloody traitor for everyone around him. Near the end, he commits lots of atrocities and eventually pays his heavy price.

Trivia[]

  • Faygun France is the only original major villain who didn't appear in The Incredibles official movie. Even Alpine is basically a different version of Syndrome, acting just like he would act. The Snake is based on The Devil from folkore, but he still isn't an original fanmade villain.
