Felicia Foxworth is the main antagonist of Redstoneprime's story Bramble and the Well of Dreams. She is an elderly vixen and the mother of Bramble Foxworth who shows care towards her family. Beneath this facade, however, she is a ruthless killer who will do whatever she deems neccessary in order to rise to power, even if it means killing her own family.
Biography:[]
Felicia is first seen tending to her cubs at the den while her husband stays with Bramble. However, after the mysterious dissapearance of her husband, Felicia leaves the den, which makes Bramble feel suspicious of her.
During Bramble's quest to find out what happened to his family, he overhears her mother talking with Blaze and instantly assumed she's been captured and being forced to work with them. However, once he enters the temple where the well is hidden, he learns that she was working with Blaze voluntarilly, claiming she was doing so to keep the forest safe. Bramble quickly calls her out on her betrayal and begins attacking her, only stopping when Flora and Skye (Bramble's best friends) intervene. She, Blaze, and Gemini lead the others through the temple to where the well is hidden, and gets caught in a trap set of by Gemini. She is saved from the trap by Skye and, along with Bramble, Skye, and Flora, escapes from the temple.
After she leaves the temple, she, Bramble and his friends try searching for Blaze, who had disappeared. She decides the four of them should split up into pairs, and goes off with Skye in search of the Mink. However, this is later revealed to be a trap as, when Bramble returns, he sees the mangled body of Skye lying on the floor with Felicia standing over her, revealing that she truly had betrayed them and never actually cared for her family nor the other creatures of the forest. Gemini then appears at the scene, revealing that he killed Blaze, and he and Gemini had been working together from the beginning.
She reveals that she had Bramble's father killed so she could rise to power, using Blaze as a scapegoat so no-one would suspect her, and had been manipulating him the entire time since the time she attacked his family. Upon learning this, Bramble tells Flora to run, prompting her to chase them through the forest towards Bramble's den. Once she reaches the den, she begins taunting Bramble over what happened to his family. This enrages Bramble so much he begins to fight her, only stopping after the two of them get too exhausted to fight any longer. After the fight, Felicia leaves the den, heading back to the temple in hopes of using the wells powers for her own.
Bramble and Flora soon meet her at the temple, where she and Gemini ambush the two of them in hopes of killing them both. A fight breaks out between her and Bramble, battling over control of the well while Flora fights with Gemini, with Flora tricking Gemini into getting himself caught in a trap. During the fight, the well begins to break, causing the entire temple around it to collapse due to a trap being set off. She, Bramble, and Flora flee from the temple as it's collapsing around them, sending a huge torrent of water rushing their way. Bramble and Flora manage to make it to land. Felicia is not fast enough, however, and gets caught in the torrent, sending her over a waterfall to her watery demise, ending her reign of terror for good.
Personallity[]
At first, Felicia is introduced as a caring mother who shows love for her cubs. She allows them to play with her, and makes sure they are well looked after. This is all an act, however, in order to hide her true nature as a monstrous psychopath who will kill anyone if it will allow her to rule to forest. She has no care for anyone but herself, and is willing to betray her own allies. She is also shown to have a rather dark sense of humour, and is highly sadistic, as shown when she mocks Bramble over what happened to his den and family.
Trivia[]
- She is based heavily on Scar from The Lion King as both are relatives of the hero who kill another relative of theirs so they can rise to power and take over the respective works' main setting (The Pridelands for Scar, the forest for Felicia). They are also shown to be fairly sadistic, and only care for themselves while manipulating others to achieve their goals.
