Agent Fernando, better known as simply Fern, is a major antagonist in Season 1 of the Animator vs. Animation fanfic series Father & Son.
He serves as a supporting antagonist in Father & Son 6: Shades of Future Night, the final antagonist of The Great Above: Father & Son 7, and one of the two main antagonists (alongside Navy) of King Of This Kingdom: Father & Son 8.
He is King's childhood best friend and older brother of Willow who has been working as a spy for Navy and Night Shade. However, he would later backstab Navy to brainwash Purple and take over the Great Above for himself, installing Purple as his puppet king.

Backstory[]
All that's known about Fern is that he has a little sister called Willow who works at Navy's army, and that he went to high school with King. In unknown circumstances, he was recruited to Navy's army as a spy.
Father & Son 6: Shades of Future Night[]
Agent Fernando is send out by Navy and Night Shade to work as a spy for them. Upon meeting Gold and his friends, surprised he's still alive due to knowing about his supposed "death" in a Minecraft simulator, he's brought to ALANSPC where he befriends the heroes, although on shaky terms with Yellow due to both being geniuses. He tags along to their adventure to Navy's base where they try to rescue the kidnapped Red and Purple, although he eventually gives away he's hiding something by freezing up whenever Willow's childhood friend Sunny is brought up. Realising his cover is blown, Fern reveals himself to be a spy, summoning Night Shade's drones to imprison everyone.
Fern is later one of the many people thrown into the Great Above by Navy and Night Shade's portal.
The Great Above: Father & Son 7[]
Fern is apparently a spy working on Sunny's guard, although hesitatingly and only due to Sunny seeing him as good at the job. Later on, it's revealed Fern and Night Shade were regularly talking to each other, making the heroes realise he tricked them yet again.
Late into the fic, Purple searches through books in Navy's castle and realises they've been documenting every event so far. Fern confirms Purple's suspicions before somehow brainwashing him. He then sics Purple on both Navy and the heroes while cannons shoot at the castle, making everyone escape the place while Purple proclaims himself king.
King Of This Kingdom: Father & Son 8[]
Fern rules the Great Above behind the shadows, having Purple as a shadow king. When the Color Gang, King, the Chosen One and the Dark Lord tried to sneak into the castle, Fern finds and attacks them, trying to lie to them that Purple died. However, he's quickly proven wrong when Purple - who broke out of the brainwashing - appears to fight Fern himself. It's revealed that after Purple stole Navy's powers, Fern took them for himself. However, even that isn't enough to stop Purple, who proceeds to kill Fern in a fairly one-sided battle.
