Finn Mertens is one of the two main protagonists of Adventure Time and the main antagonist of the FNF mod Pibby: Apocalypse.
He was a human boy who was adopted by an anthropomorphic bulldog couple named Joshua and Margaret, upon reaching into his teen years, he and his adopted brother and best friend Jake moved into a treehouse and began a life of adventuring and doing heroic deeds throughout their magical/technological home of Ooo.
However, when he was corrupted by The Darkness, he became a bloodthirsty, rage filled psychopath of his former self.
He was voiced by Requiem Zero.
Appearance[]
Finn maintains his original design from Adventure Time, wearing his blue pants, dark blue shorts, bear themed hat, green backpack, black shoes and white socks. In his corrupted form he has spots of The Darkness covering his body and has a disturbing smile on his face. He's usually seen with his prosthetic arm (given to him by Princess Bubblegum) but when he pulls out his sword he removes his prosthetic arm and grows his original arm back.
In Come Along With Me he's seen wearing a band of flowers on his head during his "fake-out" at the beginning of the song. When he's revealed to be corrupted his band of flowers disappear and has white glowing eyes and even his mouth starts glowing white later, and a string-like substance wraps around his arms, like he were being controlled by The Darkness.

- Brotherly Love is the only song in their week where Finn does not appear.
- Blessed by Swords is the only song where Finn’s robotic arm doesn’t appear and Scarlet sticks together with him throughout the whole song.
- It’s also the only song where Boyfriend doesn't sing against Finn.
- The earliest sprites of Finn and Pibby: Apocalypse as a whole was a teaser video showing off his sprites to Jakeneutron's Corrupted Hero Remix, which you can find here.
- His normal sprites had to be remade 8 times by 4 different artists before the current version.
- His chromatics in Mindless are unique to it and it alone, due to the creator of the chromatic SevcExt losing the FLP to the song and taking the chromatic with it.
