Fire Lord Ozai, simply known as Lord Ozai or Ozai is the main antagonist of the every episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender trilogy made by Anthpo.
He serves as the overarching antagonist of Book 1: Water and Book 2: Earth before becoming the main antagonist of Book 3: Fire.
He is the tyrannical ruler of the Fire Nation who seeks to use a comet in order to wipe out all other nations. He is also Zuko’s and Azula’s father, and Aang’s arch-nemesis.
He is portrayed by Anthpo, who also played Combustion Man, Zhao, Crazy Old Lady, Ty Lee, and the unnamed Prison Warden in the same series.
Biography[]
Book 1: Water[]
Fire Lord Ozai is first shown speaking to Azula. He tells her that she needs to eliminate Zuko and Iroh for betraying the Fire Nation. The video ends with Azula holding a taser.
Book 2: Earth[]
The animated version of Ozai is seen briefly during Zuko’s musical number, For Honor. He is also mentioned by Zuko as his “dear father”. Zuko contemplates if he and Azula genuinely cares about him and his character arc.
Trivia[]
- Despite being the main antagonist of the trilogy, he has very little screen time and doesn’t interact with Aang until the final battle.
- Fire Lord Ozai is the second ever main antagonist of an Anthpo video to be portrayed by Anthpo, the first being Dr. Heinz Doofenshmertz.
