Flamewar is a major antagonist of the Transformers: Prime fanfic Space, Stars and other Oddities. She is a member of the Rise Strike Team, trio of female decepticons serving Megatron.
History[]
Flamewar makes her first appearance arriving to the Moon with the rest of her team and delivering the Prime's arm to Megatron and Dreadwing. She was present when Megatron got his arm replaced with the one of a dead Prime's to use the Forge of Solus Prime and create the Dark Star Saber.
Later, Rise Strike Team and Dreadwing were sent to retrieve one of the Omega Keys, where she started chasing Smokescreen. Eventually, she got up to him, but before they started fighting, they were attacked and knocked out by Pharma. When he stole the rest of the Omega Keys from the Autobots, Flamewar informed Megatron about it and led him to the bridge.
Flamewar was among the Decepticons who arrived on the Cybertron, ready to restore it. When the Autobots attacked them, she and Shadow Striker tried to help the Vehicons, but Bulkhead manages to immobilize them with Immobilizer. Somehow getting out of the stasis, the duo rejoined Megatron at the Omega Lock. When Slipstream, Soundwave, Knock Out and Dreadwing returns with the Autobots' human allies captured hostages, Megatron forced the Autobots to handle him the keys and artifacts, after which the Decepticons start cyberforming the Earth, which stops when Optimus stabs the main console of the Omega Lock with the Star Saber, destroying it.
After the Decepticons destroy the Autobots base, Rise Strike team found Wheeljack and brought him to the Darkmount in order to interrogate him. Later, she informed Megatron when Soundwave managed to pinpoint Jack Darby's location and dispatched Laserbeak to monitor an attempt to off him. The trio watched the Eradicons' attempt to execute him which resulted in an explosion that took out Laserbeak. After that she informed Slipstream about their results. Later, she was present during Shockwave's return, smirking when Slipstream laughed at Starscream leaving him on Cybertron. When Knock Out showed his surprise over Megatron's decision to hand over all his research to Shockwave, Flamewar tried to cheer him up, stating that Megatron wants to take some extra work off his shoulders.
During the Decepticons visit in Shockwave's laboratory, she was seen talking with Shadow Striker about "The Jurassic Park", the film they watched before, with Flamewar comparing Predacons to the dinosaurs much to Vehicon's confusion. Later, she almost noticed Smokescreen during his raid to the Darkmount, but shook it off as an imagination.
During the Autobots' attack on the Darkmount, Flamewar and Shadow Striker with their squad of Vehicons surrounded Arcee, Bumblebee and Skywarp. When rebuilt Optimus Prime returned and turned the tables, destroying the Decepticons base with Starscream and Warlock's help, the duo were seen carrying unconscioun Megatron back to the Nemesis.
At the Shockwave's laboratory on the Nemesis Slipstream questioned Shockwave's idea to spawn an army Predacons at the Nemesis, only for Flamewar to remind her that he's doing it off-site. Later, she was present during Predaking's return to the ship, looking at Shockwave for answers. Megatron then sent Slipstream, Flamewar, Airachnid and Predaking to Easter Island where they encountered Skywarp, Marissa Faireborn and Buster. When Airachnid put on Skywarp the special collar, blocking his outlier abilities, Flamewar informed him that it will explode if he'll try to take it off.
She was left to keep an optic on Skywarp and Marissa when Slipstream and Airachnid went to see if Predaking survived the grenade explosion. Buster started barking at Flamewar, distracting her long enough for Marissa to activate the Apex Armor. In the following battle, she decided to retreat at the Nemesis.
In Ontario, Canada Flamewar was shown fighting Hex, ordering Predaking to attack her. After the Predacon returned to the base with Hex, Flamewar retreated with the Vehicons. Later, when Megatron and the rest of his officers found out about Dreadwing's betrayal, she was present during his duel with Megatron and was shocked by the information about the Dark Energon's corruption of the sparks.
After Knock Out returned to the Nemesis with the Predacon Talon and Warlock in his holoform, Flamewar was seen talking with Megatron. She was present when the Quintesson taunted Megatron and turned his holoform off, escaping the Nemesis, much to Megatron's anger.
The Rise Strike team went into the Knock Out's lab, where Slipstream injected CYLAS with incomplete Synth-En formula. Flamewar was confused by the fact that CYLAS went into recharge quickier than expected, making Shadow Striker find out that the Synth-En causes him run through his natural energon reserves very quickly and rapidly burn-out. Flamewar wonders why Megatron would want "another unruly beast", accidentally giving Slipstream an idea to inject CYLAS with Dark Energon, which Flamewar gleefully did. When that turns CYLAS into energetic vampire, he attacks her, making Slipstream and Shadow Striker try to pull him off her. When CYLAS runs away, she starts explaining the situation to Knock Out, only for Shadow Striker to interrupt her and reveal that it was Slipstream's idea, making her explain her thought process. After that, she orders Flamewar and Shadow Striker to find him. During their search, the duo encountered Megatron, to whom they give the information about Slipstream's idea.
During her visit to the Shockwave's laboratory, Flamewar was the only one who was happy about the fact that Predaking can transform. Worried by this revelation and his intelligence, the Decepticon high command discuss the consequences of it and that he can try and overthrow Megatron, with the Decepticon leader suggesting to eradicate Project Predacon before they will be the one to be eradicated. Flamewar tried to object, thinking that Shockwave will be sad by this, only for him to state that he finds this solution logical, much to her surprise. Slipstream then reveals her idea to lure the Autobots to the lab and let them destroy it for them, which would give Predaking and the other two Predacons no reason to blame them, which Megatron approved. Later, she was present when Shockwave informed Slipstream about the Autobots' sudden arrival, figuring out that she didn't informed him on purpose.
