Fleetway Super Sonic, also known simply as Super Sonic or Fleetway, is an antagonist in the Friday Night Funkin' Mod, Vs. Sonic.exe.

He's originally from Sonic the Comic, a British comic book series that was published by Fleetway Editions.

Appearance[]

Like most versions of Super Sonic, Fleetway is golden with red eyes. Unlike most versions, however, his eyes have multiple red circles in a swirl-like pattern to signify his insanity. He also has fangs and claws, as he is wilder and more ferocious than normal Super Sonic.

Personality[]

Unlike Super Sonic in other Sonic media, who maintains his heroic and cheerful attitude as when he's not empowered, Fleetway Super Sonic is dark, reckless, blood-thirsty, and sadistic.

After suffering from amnesia, he acts just as kind and nice as his non-super counterpart. Even when he regains his memories, he refuses to use his powers out of fear that he'll return to being the heartless monster he once was.

History[]

Sonic is just sitting on an altar before a voice shouting "Intruders!" catches him off guard, causing him to fall into the altar of the chaos emeralds. Upon which, he emerges having turned into Super Sonic (this is directly based on "Running Wild, Part 1" from issue #80 of Sonic the Comic), and he challenges Boyfriend to a rap battle. As the two sing, Super Sonic fires a laser in the middle of the song, instantly disintegrating and killing Boyfriend if not dodged. As the song progresses Super Sonic mocks Boyfriend throughout. After a few more lyrics, Boyfriend takes on a super form, catching Super Sonic off guard, and eventually gets frustrated.

God Feast[]

Lord X, Xenophanes, Majin Sonic, Tails Doll, Fleetway Super Sonic, and Sunky were invited by their D-Side counterparts to a Thanksgiving feast. Before eating, they start a rap battle.

Trivia[]

He, Tails Doll, and Majin Sonic are the only characters in the mod who originate from the official Sonic series, and he's also the only one among them to have been a villain from the start (Tails Doll was only a villain in the Archie Comics). Furthermore, he is the only character in the mod that isn't based on a Sonic creepypasta and the only character that originates from Sonic's comic media.
A lot of his game-over quotes are jabs at Sonic.exe.
Before the round 2 update was released, Fleetway Super Sonic wasn't shown at all to be a part of it, unlike all the other opponents, making his presence a surprise.
