Flotsam and Jetsam are Ursula's pet teal moray eels and loyal henchmen as well as members of The Forces of Evil.
Personality[]
Like their original counterpart, Flotsam and Jetsam are very loyal to Ursula, serving as her henchmen and spies, often sneaking around the ocean, searching for the victims for Ursula's plot.
Flotsam and Jetsam are overall intelligent and competent at bring people to Ursula's hideout and making sure her plans success, such as when they successfully prevent Ariel and Prince Eric from kissing.
Despite Ursula barking orders at them from time to time, Flotsam and Jetsam generally love her, due showing them affection and referring both of them as her "babies", as well showing gratitude toward them for a job well done.
Character What: The Adventures[]
Like in the film, Flotsam and Jetsam spies on Ariel as she dreams of becoming human and living on the surface with them, which is forbidden due to Ariel's father King Triton's prejudged toward humans.
After Triton destroyed Ariel's collection of human items (and the statue of a human named Prince Eric) out fear that he would lose his daughter to the human world, Flotsam and Jetsam arrived to Ariel crying over her destroyed collection. They explain that Ursula could make her dreams come true.
Ariel didn't trust the eels, but changed her mind when Flotsam and Jetsam reminds her about her love for Eric. They show Ariel the way to Ursula's grotto. Ursula turns Ariel into human, at the cost of her voice.
After Ursula obtain the trident and become the ruler of the ocean, she orders Flotsam and Jetsam to chase after Eric, they dragged Eric into ocean when he tries to swim back at the surface. However, Sebastian clips one of the eels' tail with his pincer claw while Flounder slaps the other eel with tail repeatedly, causing them to released Eric from their grab.
Ursula attempts to kill Eric by shooting him with the magic of the trident, Ariel pulled the Sea Witch's hair, causing her to accidentally kill her eels instead. a shocked Ursula collects the remains of eels while mourns for them out remorse for accidentally killing them before focuses rage toward Ariel for causing it in the first place.
Character What: New Hope[]
prior to Under the Sea, Flotsam and Jetsam were revived by either Shadow Aaron or Maleficent, and they continue to serve Ursula as loyal minions. When Shadow Aaron requested Ursula to destroy Webby, so the young duckling wouldn't interfere with his plans to ruined Shadow Joe's social life as revenge for making his life miserable. Without hesitation, Ursula agrees to Shadow Aaron's plan so she send out Flotsam and Jetsam to found Webby and bring her to Ursula's grotto. Flotsam and Jetsam met up Webby (wearing a air-bubble) in the ocean, they tell her to come with them to see Ursula who can give her whatever she want. But Webby never meet the eels before, and learned never go out with strangers. However, Flotsam and Jetsam manages encouraged her to come with them.
