Ford Westeguard is a major antagonist of the Disney film Hans. He is the second eldest son to King Solmen Westeguard (after Lars) who intends to be the king of The Sourthern Isles at all costs, and even after secretly killing his brother Hans.
He is portrayed by the famous young actor Jake Gyllenhaal.
History[]
He at first twists Hans' arm and forces him to give him his medal for the global swordfight competition. However, their mother Merrinda told him to stop fighting Hans. Merrinda then told Hans that he is her favourite child, and that unlike the other children she is planning to take him with to her true love, King Jennix of Weselton. However, during the following night, King Westeguard found his wife's love letter to Jennix, so he pulled her out of bed and took her to be executed. The following morning, Hans found out from Ford that his dear mother is dead and gone for good. Thereafter, Ford dumped Hans into the mud and walked away while laughing with two other brothers. Hans later runs away from the castle during the night and finds his way to Arendelle. Two of Hans' kinder brothers, Lars and Jameson, get worried about Hans. However, Ford tells Lars and Jameson that he is not even worth a single penny and that they shouldn't be worried about him. Ford is then called with the other 11 brothers to a meeting with their father Solmen. During the meeting, Solmen revealed his ultimate scheme to take over Arendelle and he then praised Ford for being his most precious, useful and amazing child. Solmen told the other 11 brothers to take example from Ford. However, that was until Solmen learnt that Hans is about to marry Princess Anna of Arendelle for the throne. Solmen sent his top mercenary Chiko with a letter to manipulate Hans, with instructions of how to gain from her more information and take over the kingdom for The Sourthern Isles. Ford however grows even more envious of Hans, and he secretly sends Chiko with his bandits to get rid of Hans and Anna, with an excuse that Hans was eaten by wolves and that he called for help before then, thus leaving Ford to take over Arendelle instead of him. Ford later confronted Hans in the woods with the other brothers. Hans however managed to kill all of them with the help of Anna, Olaf, Marhsmallow and Gomund the troll.
