Fred (formerly Shadow Freddy) is the deuteragonist of the YouTube series, FNAFHS (currently stylized as FHS). He is the second personality and former archenemy of Freddy, as well as his polar opposite.
He acts as the central antagonist turned supporting protagonist of Season 1 and a major protagonist in Season 2 and Z3R0.
He was voiced by ItsFandubTime in the original series.
Being a Shadow, Fred is the embodiment of Freddy's insecurities. He used to enjoy tormenting Freddy before redeeming himself, and even now, he still shows some mischievous tendencies.
After redeeming himself, Fred becomes more polite and protective over Freddy and his mom. He also becomes friends with Freddy's friends (although they don't realize it). One thing that he does even before his redemption was flirt with girls. His usual crushes are Joy, Usagi Bon, and Ann Chica. Joy in particular is much more genuine then his other flirts and he has shown a genuine crush on her.
In stark contrast to Freddy, Fred shows little common sense and likes to get himself in trouble or to try and be unpredictable.

He resembles Freddy greatly, but with a black and grey color scheme. He has gray skin and black, wavy hair. His eyes are black sclera with white irises and pupils and he usually wears black clothing. Most appearances show him in a red tie.
