Fukyu Mekaru is the first main antagonist of The Punkettes, serving as the main antagonist of the first and second seasons. She is Spyro Doomfire's archnemesis, former teammate, and rival. Fukyu served as the chief force that ultimately turned Spyro into the murderer she is.
Personality[]
To put it simply, Fukyu is portrayed as a self-righteous, sociopathic, lying, egotistic, arrogant, uncaring, remorseless, thrill-seeking, basically assholic individual who only cares about herself. Fukyu seemed to be quite sadistic. Fukyu is genuinely mean spirited and cruel. Some Punkettes like have even attacked Fukyu once she pushed their buttons too far. She also has a habit of outright making threats towards the Punkettes should they anger her enough. On her own, she can be incredibly hot-headed and impulsive, and will find the pettiest reasons to kill people.
Fukyu is also homophobic, transphobic, and racist at times, those issues appeared to have stemmed from her father. She appears to be quite distrustful of men, thinking men are abusive and cruel, mainly due to her having endured from her experiences from her father.
Despite this, deep down, she has issues from a pretty bad life at home, she is quite traumatized from the physical and emotional abuse from her alcoholic father, and that mother was probably negligent when it came to her and her siblings, such as allowing Fukyu to play with guns and explosives and letting her go to wherever she wants all by herself or with her friends without any legal guardian. She also loves the Frozen duology from Disney, seeing it as an escapism from those issues, and admires one of the main characters, Elsa. She is also quite loyal to Vipera Litakira, and was willing to put her rivalry with Spyro aside to help the Punkettes against greater threats, and tries to help XK pay his debts to the Yakuza. She also has good companionship with her dog Baylock and Hoshiko, who she sees as her best friend.
