Furnace is the secondary turned main antagonist of Prey series created by Sensation Studio. Formerly was Starved's minion, his mission was to gain his powerful state even if it risked the lives of Mobians.
History[]
After the death of the first Furnace, another model of Furnace arrived, killed Amy and Tails then chased after Sonic.
At Stardust Speedway, Furnace taunted Sonic about his end-game goals, taunting that he will meet his friends soon after death. He then fought Sonic alongside other replicas. As he powered down, he tried his best to catch up with Mighty and Sonic, only to get hit by Mighty and witnessed an event of him being terminated by Starved with a Time Stone.
Furnace then rushed towards Starved to kill him, then sent his army to Sonic and Mighty.
Furnace once again ambushed Sonic and Mighty, then revealed that he only has two Time Stones. He then devised a plan of conquering the planet with what's left from Eggman, and tried to defeat the heroes by obtaining the rest of the time stones before Sonic and Mighty does.
After returning to the Metallic Madness, Furnace witnessed that Espio and Sonic has the remaining Time Stones. He went after Espio, pushed him away from the chain, and finally went back to Sonic. Sonic then used the last Time Stone to power up and fought against a more powerful Furnace. Furnace's attacks proved that they are nothing compared Sonic's, and he revealed that he contained Amy. Sonic then quickly finished Furnace off to save Amy, as well as ending his reign for good. After that, he decided to undo the chaos that led to the events of the series, even preventing Starved's existence.
