GB is the main antagonist of Fiepie's lyrical cover of Golden Land from Mario's Madness.
He is a malicious entity who takes on the form of Mario with the intent of using that form to lure in innocent victims and killing them, with his ultimate goal being to breach reality and spread misery and death into the real world.
He was voiced by LukeGoji.
Personality[]
GB's personality can best be described as mocking and sadistic. While he at first puts on the innocent facade of Mario, this is quickly ditched in exchange for his true self. In his revealed form, GB shows himself to be incredibly bloodthirsty, lamenting about how he was gonna kill Boyfriend and Girlfriend while alluding to the possibility that he has taken victims before. He is also shown to enjoy mocking his victims, as he makes fun of Boyfriend for trying to escape while also pointing out how he was the key to him breaking out into reality and spreading misery. Overall, GB is a lover of mind games, death, and torture.
Biography[]
Through unforeseen circumstances, Boyfriend and Girlfriend find themselves in GB's realm. At first disguising himself as the well-known video game star Super Mario, GB subtlely hints at his own nature throughout the first portion of the song by mentioning that misfortune comes to those who enter his realm.
Upon revealing his true form, GB forgoes all kindly bravado and reveals his true nature. Mocking Boyfriend for falliing for his trap, GB begins to gloat about how he and Girlfriend are his latest victims and that he shall torture them for eternity, taking sadistic plight in lighting the painful ways he planned to skewer the poor rapper.
Near the end of the song, GB reveals his plans to break into reality so that he can spread despair and misery, stating that Boyfriend was the key to his freedom, and that now he will "reap", all but outright stating his plans to slaughter all those who live in the real world. Once more mocking Boyfriend and Girlfriend for falling for his trap, he then gloats about how the two of them can never escape, that they will "remain his prey" before the video shows a shot of Boyfriend being hung from strings, GB's eyes in the background, accompanied by GB stating that his body will be hung by strings until he decays.
Ultimately, the song ends with GB stating that there's nothing Boyfriend and Girlfriend can do to stop him and that he's ensured that neither of them can get in his way.
