| ~ Gabriel in distraught that nobody was gonna show up at his performance before attempting to kill Chuck with a flaming spear
|
Gabriel Page is a minor antagonist in Undead Rising, a Dead Rising fan game by The Maro Lounge on Roblox.
He was a performer who wanted to do karaoke of "My Chemical Reaction", but was unaware of the zombie outbreak at the Dylamette Parkview Mall, and has rather violent outbursts whenever he's supposedly made fun of or made to look bad.
Appearance[]
Gabriel is an obese man with long black hair and glasses. He wears a black shirt with the My Chemical Romance logo and band on the front, along with gray pants and black shoes. He secretly carried around a black spear with fire surrounding the sharp tip of it.
Personality[]
Gabriel is shown to be rather desperate, as he wanted to perform on stage after getting upset/overjoyed that someone finally came and was completely unaware about the apocalypse going on as he was more focused on his performance. However, Gabriel soon showed a more easily angered and violent side as he was quick to make assumptions and attack with a dangerous weapon.
Biography[]
Encounter[]
Frank West calls Chuck to inform him that he saw someone at the Colby's Stage Theater getting ready to perform despite there being no one else there. As Chuck goes to investigate, he is greeted by Gabriel Page, who gotten all excited that there was finally someone who came to the theater and watch him perform. Chuck was confused about why Gabriel was by himself and tells him he shouldn't be out there and offers to take him to the safehouse, to which Gabriel gets confused about what he was talking about and explains his reasonings. Chuck understands, but reassures that nobodies gonna show up in the theater and mentions that he'll be able to entertain any survivors that were in the safehouse. Gabriel didn't take Chuck's advice very positively and gets angry assuming that he thinks he's not good enough, and then pulls out a flaming spear and attacks.
After Chuck succeeds in defeating Gabriel, he is rewarded with his fire spear, which is capable of summoning a ring of fireballs around him that does minor damage to zombies, while the spear itself does slightly more.
Battle[]
Gabriel is an average fighter, but has a bit of slow wind-up in his attacks as he tries to hit Chuck with his fire spear. Since he sometimes pauses between attacks, it can be good to sneak a quick hit or two with a decent damaging weapon.
Teleporting + Fire missile: At random points of the fight, Gabriel will run to the edge of the stage and teleport to the upper level to fire a flaming projectile at Chuck's direction. A quick way to avoid it can be with the use of jumping away or dodge rolling.
Trivia[]
- Gabriel is one of the six Psychopaths to have some inspiration taken from a pre-existing boss from the mainline games, as his fight contains elements of the Scare King from Dead Rising 4, since both can teleport, fire off flaming projectiles, and wield a flaming bladed weapon.
- Gabriel is the only boss in the game that has an instant kill move.
- Gabriel appears to be a My Chemical Romance fan given that he's seen wearing a shirt with both the band and logo on it, but his dialogue weirdly calls them "My Chemical Reaction". It's unknown whether it was to avoid copyright or just a mistake in the script.
