Galvatron is the overarching antagonist in Haddad062's crossover fanfic Transformers Evangelion.
Appearance[]
He uses the Generation One Cartoon Galvatron appearance, being based on the G1 era and same for his past Megatron.
Personality[]
He has his usual power hungry and ruthless personality who wishes to take over the universe. Like his counterpart, he sees humans as inferior lifeforms.
In addition, he also sees the Evangelion Units nothing more than human weak imitations of mechanical life forms, see humans a mistake who don't deserve to be protected and are servants of the strong, aka him.
History[]
He likely shared a similar history as his Cartoon Counterpart, as he was once Megatron and mentioned his alliance with the Quintessons.
He would find the Darkspark prior to the events of the series. He planned on using it’s power to blow up the Earth's Moon. However, he would be confronted by Optimus Prime and the Autobots trying to stop him. However, a transwarp portal sucks him and Prime into it.
He ends up being absent for most of the story when he returned to the final chapter revealing he was in stasis lock and woke up in the Antartica where he decided to learn about Adam and Lilith. He would steal pieces of them and used it to create an actual Decepticon Matrix of Leadership. He used it's power to trigger the Third Impact, plunging the world into darkness and placing many in fantasies of their worst fears.
Qs the Trinity of Megatrons now merged with his past self Megatron and Predacon Namesake Galvatron and the other two attempted to blast them, but disrupted their weaponry with Kaworu and Rei lecturing him. Kaworu compares the Decepticons to his own species of Angels for his hatred of humanity.
Rei says that God should love everyone, not have everyone serve him before encouraging Shinji Ikari to believe in him and disappear as the Third Impact begin to fall apart. Galvatron demanding who it is before Shinji replied with one... Optimus Prime as the Autobot leader appeared with deploying the Matrix of Leadership.
Though, while Galvatron was heavily damaged, he was still alive as Galvatron uses his last-ditch attempt by saying to Prime what he sees into humanity before a final fight where he is attacked by the Evangelions. Only to be finished off by Optimus Prime. He falls down and turns and dies. The threat of Galvatron and the Decepticons would be over at last, thus ending the war once and for all.
Trivia[]
- Him being the overreaching main antagonist is an reference to the mention of Galvatron in the Transformers x Evangelion crossover story Transformers Mode: EVA by Starscream.
- He mentions the Quintessons about not being an Decepticon Matrix is an nod to Five Faces of Darkness meaning it is canon to this one. Though, he managed to create one with Lilth and Adam by combining it with the Darkspark.
- His Particle Canon was misnamed as the "Fusion Canon" in the story, likely due to Haddad062 being unaware Galvatron's arm canon having an separate name but his past self as Megatron's weapon were named as Fusion Canon correctly however.
