Genodo Ikari is the secondary antagonist alongside Keel Lorenz in Haddad062's crossover Transformers Evangelion he is leader of NER, father of Shinji Ikari and member of SEELE.
Appearance[]
He has the same appearance as his original counterpart.
Personality[]
He has his official version's cold and harsh person except more worse as he was gonna willingly sacrifice even more innocents to obtain his goals. He is delusional as he not understood Optimus Prime calling him out for his immoral acts believing them to justified necessary evils and not understanding why
However he sorta changed when Yui Ikari was revived during failed Third Impact and by the Third Impact he willingly listened her after being forced where he attempt to make up by exposing SEELE’s crimes and dissolve SEELE.
History[]
His history remained mostly the same as his canon counterpart until Optimus Prime arrived on Earth during Evangelion Unit-01's fight with Arael.
Optimus Prime would have an meeting with Gendo to explain on him on the incident involving the Thirteenth Angel Barderial where Toji Suzuhara an friend of Shinji Ikari trapped inside of Evangelion Unit-03 and Gendo about to destroy it with Toji inside. After Optimus Prime questions him why he taking unnecessary sacrifices of others and Gendo's the treatment of Shinji Ikari, he attempt to justify them for the greater good and threaten to dismantle him if he keep it up. Before it end Optimus said one day Gendo will be judged for his actions and when he asked as an leader or parent, the Autobot leader said both.
During SEELE's JSDF raid on NERV Gendo attempt to use the chaos where he has Rei (or any clone of her) to reach Adam and Lilith to trigger the Third Impact but however he is stopped by Ritsuko and Landon at gunpoint. Ritsuko would call him an traitor for using her and when he asked who told her, Landon said he did and asked if he should explain the Instrumentally Project to everyone or let Gendo do it himself.
Gendo along with SEELE would be taken away in the aftermath to custody though his involvement with Galvatron's attempt on wiping out all of humanity is unknown but when Yui Ikari was revived from it due to the Matrix of Leadership combined with the Third Impact, she forces him to change where he exposes his and SEELE's actions willingly to be judged for their actions.
Trivia[]
- Unlike his original version his iteration isn't an Karma Houdini as he is brought to justice by Optimus Prime and the Autobots exposing him and SELEE's actions, taking them down where he faced consequences for his actions.
- This version is more hateable than his original counterpart due to lacking his sympathetic traits as Yuui Ikari wasn't covered in the story here that much.
