General Maddanos is a major antagonist of the series The Chosen One. He specifically acts as the main antagonist of the first season's "Life and Death "arc.
He is the supreme commander and general of The Shadow Kingdom and is Nazira's rival. He acts as one of the primary threats towards Azurof and his crew.
He also appears to be the main antagonist of the series' 2020 live-action reboot Legend of The Chosen One. In the fanfilm, he is portrayed by Tom Felton, who also played Draco Malfoy from the popular franchise of Harry Potter, Dodge Landon from Rise of The Planet of Apes, and Morlun from the series Osborn.
History[]
Maddanos is at first present during his meeting with Nazira, who was now known as the "hero" who has killed the chosen one Azurof, with the support of Prince Jinogo. Maddanos' ultimate goal was to prove that the chosen one is alive so he could then kill both Nazira and Azurof, and become the greatest hero and model of all times for The Shadow Kingdom. He eventually receives the permission from Jinogo to challenge Nazira with a task to prove that Azurof is alive if he really believes that he is. Maddanos catches up with Nazira's ship and climbs onto it with his soldiers. They manage to kidnap both Garrushon and Nazira's pet Moono, as he brought them to Shadow King Zadul. Zadul however got upset, as he believed that Maddanos and Jinogo were tooling with him while planning to foil his plans to keep Nazira on his side. Zadul threatens that if he continues this, he shall be killed painfully.
Madannos however doesn't quit his task as he goes once again to find Azurof and prove himself as a better hero than Princess Nazira.
The fearsome general reaches Bazagu and destroys it with his soldiers until the city is burnt to the ground and there are no remains left. His soldiers are also ordered to kill all of the town's people. General Maddanos then sends his lietuant General Jasam to retrieve Azurof's head and kill his allies. Jasam however fails on his mission, and the soldiers all get killed off. As a result, the enraged Maddanos goes to finish his task personally. However, he spares Azurof and his crew for the next few minutes as he first wants to receive from them information about the location of the duke of life. He kills the duke, however, victory is short lived for the tyrannical general. Nazira encounters him and the two have a rough sword fight. In the middle of their battle to death, Azurof uses ying yang powers to summon the elemental of life and death, Egora. Egora sends Maddanos to the underworld, thus killing him.
Legend of The Chosen One[]
He appears in the reboot and live-action fanfilm as the primary enemy of Azurof and Princess Aqua, and he serves as the main antagonist of the storyline despite taking orders from King Zadul. He is firstly seen burning the city of Naveer to the ground, under the orders of Jinogo. He later calls his rival Nazira for a short meeting. Much like in the series, he tries to prove her wrong by finding Azurof alive and rectifying her mistakes by himself. He is presented as a cold, bitter and ruthless tyrant who leads his shadow army with an iron fist.
He eventually goes to hunt The Duke of life and death so he could recieve the ying yang signature and become the most powerful hero in the world. In order to do so and kill the chosen one, he requests to the Water Princess Aqua to bargain with him and asks her to give the location of The Duke so he could gain more power as he intended. He promised her that if she agrees, he will not harm Azurof. However, Aqua disagreed and started fighting against him. He does kill The Duke succesfully, but he pays the price as Egora is summoned by Azurof. Egora burns his entire body and as he turns into ashes and crumbles, his soul pays the prince in the underworld, or in other words, hell.

Personality[]
Maddanos is a ruthless general who cares about nothing more than causing mayhem, strategizing war for the Shadow Kingdom, and ontop of all, proving that The Chosen One is alive and that Nazira needs to pay her price. His ultimate goal is to replace Nazira as the false hero of the land. In order to achieve his goals, he is more than willing to destroy thousands of people and wipe out villages and towns.
He is not even loyal to his superior Zadul, since he eventually told Nazira that he wants to kill her father later on.
