Over the course of his gambling escapades, he experiences multiple losses, growing more desperate and confused with each attempt. While not all of his experiences revolve around gambling (the 2nd and 6th times were not related), the addiction quickly becomes a defining trait of his character.
In an attempt to confront his gambling habits, Generic Blue Stick Guy visits a therapist. Unfortunately, his progress is abruptly halted when a slot machine crushes the therapist, leaving him in a state of both guilt and disbelief. This only strengthens the cycle of his gambling addiction, and he becomes trapped in the catchphrase, “Let’s go Gambling!”
His realization comes later during the 7th time he goes gambling, where he shares with Generic Stick Guy that life itself is akin to gambling—an unpredictable gamble where nothing is ever certain. He begins to understand the deeper consequences of his actions but remains in the throes of addiction, unable to fully break free from it.
Aside from his gambling obsession, Generic Blue Stick Guy is also known for his loud outbursts and moments of intense confusion. He has a tendency to yell, often finding himself bewildered by the events unfolding around him.
There are moments where he doesn't like gambling. In Gamblecore 3, Generic Blue Stick Guy is frustrated, overwhelmed, and desperate. He’s had enough of gambling and finally decides to stop, expressing a clear desire to quit. He’s done with the chaos and the cycle, but his decision is short-lived as he's quickly overwhelmed by his clones and gets shot by the slot machine. His frustration reaches a breaking point, showing a moment of clarity, but it’s quickly undone. In Gamblecore 7, he’s reflective and somewhat resigned. He understands that life itself is uncertain, much like gambling, and that sometimes things are out of his control. His outlook is a bit more philosophical, realizing that losses are part of life and can be bounced back from. He’s calmer but still caught in the same cycle, showing a mix of awareness and acceptance.
