The German Empire, also known as the Deutsches Reich or the Deutsches Kaiserreich, is one of the antagonists of Countryhumans, a fandom based on Polandball.
The German Empire is a kaiser and the head of the Central Powers. He is also the grandfather of both West and East Germany. He is based of the real-life country that was located in Central Europe and existed from 1871 to 1918.
Personality[]
The German Empire has a sense of pride and nationalism that is extremely important to him. He cares deeply for those he is fond of, however, unlike the Third Reich, it is not so extreme to the point that he thinks others are inferior and that he is the best and most important person in the world. Because of his nationalism and pride, he is not good at expressing care for others. Usually if he cares about others, he will tell them things such as stories of his own personal experiences and try to offer moral advice. Generally, when he shows care and sympathy for others, it is pretty indirect, and seems to ultimately still be related to himself in some way. Part of this is likely because the German Empire is not exactly an empath. He values logic, not emotions, especially in war. He does not understand those who allow themselves to be led by their hearts rather than their brains.
Regardless, he is not a psychopath incapable of empathy or guilt whatsoever. He has a lot of guilt after WW1. He also has a lot of guilt and unresolved inner conflict from the war in general; like many other countries, the Great War plagues the German Empire until his inevitable death.
Even though he is not well-known for it, the German Empire can still be protective and warm to those he genuinely cares about. He might not be an empath as mentioned before, but he can still be kind and show the best side of himself.
Appearance[]
The German Empire appears as a tall man with black, white, and red skin and black eyes. He wears a simple black coat as an undershirt and a German Rifleman overcoat with gold epaulets on his shoulders and a flowing red cape. On his head, he wears a pickelhaube. He accessorizes a gold and silver iron cross.
Abilities[]
- Authority: Because of his position as a kaiser and the head of the Central Powers, the German Empire has vast power and control.
- Charisma: The German Empire is well-known for his compelling attractiveness and charm that supposedly inspires devotion in others.
- Gunmanship: He is skilled in using guns.
- Tactical Knowledge: He possesses strategic brilliance in both war and combat, as well as manipulation.
Trivia[]
- Despite being Third Reich's father, the German Empire is far from being cruel and wicked; he is mostly kind towards those he is familiar with.
- However, despite being kind towards those he is familiar with, he is known for using brutal methods during war, notably using mustard gas and bombing London with zeppelins.
