~ The Rainimator Lorebook on Glutton. |
Glutton is a supporting antagonist in the Minecraft animated web-series, Fractures.
He was the former pig king, and chose the nether princess as his heir to the throne. After Herobrine asked to ally with him, he agreed and went into battle with the Frostbourne, sending his army in aswell. After Rain went into the nether to get revenge on the nether for brainwashing Abigail, Glutton was killed in a battle with him, and due to Abigail's death, the nether was plunged into chaos with no real monarch and heir.
Appearance[]
Glutton is a towering, decayed pigman with pale, damaged skin. Large parts of his body are rotted, revealing exposed muscle and bone. His build is broad and heavy, giving him a powerful and menacing figure. He has only one eye, while the other is missing, and a long, dirty white beard hangs from his chin, adding to his worn and savage look.
He wears a black chestplate with red trim that is cracked and battered from constant battle. A crown rests on his head, showing his former authority, and sharp, horn-like bones curve upward above his skull. In combat, he wields a massive hammer, which he carries with ease despite its size.
Personality[]
“ | Adamant and daring, he will do anything for the growth of the Nether Horde. | „ |
~ The Rainimator Lorebook on Glutton's personality. |
Glutton is a ruthless and power-driven commander who leads through intimidation. He is violent and demanding, with little tolerance for weakness or failure. He shows no visible concern for his soldiers’ well-being and treats them more like tools for conquest than allies. His rule is based on brute force, and he expects complete obedience.
Despite his harsh methods, Glutton is deeply committed to expanding the Nether Empire. His actions suggest a focus on growing its reach and crushing any opposition, even if it means sacrificing those under his command. His loyalty lies with the strength of the empire itself, not with the individuals who serve it.
Biography[]
Background[]
Little is known about Glutton’s past before the events of the series. His origins, early rise to power, and the path that led him to become king of the Nether Horde remain largely unexplored. What is clear is that by the time he appears, he already holds significant authority, commanding respect and fear from both pigmen and wither skeletons alike.
Fractures[]
Glutton first appears in Begin Again overseeing the situation in the Nether. He is shown as the ruler of the Nether Horde and is watching Abigail Crysteffor, the Nether Princess, as she asserts her claim to the throne. When Abigail challenges the Wither Knights, Glutton remains calm but observant, aware of the tension within his forces. Despite the rebellion among some of the knights, Abigail's strength convinces Glutton of her worthiness, and he accepts her as the rightful heir.
Glutton takes a much more active role in the war effort. He meets with Herobrine and his generals to strategize on retaking Glacierford, which had been lost to the Frostbourne. Glutton commands his Nether Horde forces alongside Herobrine’s undead army in a large-scale assault. His leadership is crucial during the battle, directing pigmen and wither skeleton soldiers to overwhelm the defenders. Throughout the fight, Glutton displays tactical awareness and unyielding resolve, pushing the Nether Horde forward. His army’s brutal assault contributes significantly to the fall of Glacierford, and he is seen coordinating with other commanders to maintain the offensive.
After the Nether Empire’s advances, Rain Wynter mounts a counterattack, determined to stop Glutton and the Nether Horde. Rain invades the Nether, pushing deep into Glutton’s stronghold. The confrontation between Rain and Glutton is intense and personal, reflecting the broader struggle between their forces. Glutton fights fiercely, wielding his strength and leadership to defend his territory. Despite his power and command, Rain manages to gain the upper hand during the battle. The fight culminates in Rain decapitating Glutton, killing him once and for all.
Legacy[]
While he doesn't appear or isn't exactly mentioned that much in future seasons, his death had alot of influence and plunged the nether in chaos, due to Glutton and Abigail dying, there was no rightful heir to the throne, and considering the False Pig King was a horrible monarch who plunged wars, there was no rightful monarch either, leading Naeus having to take control to restore the nether's glory, killing the false pig king and becoming king himself.
