Godzilla is the main antagonist of the analog horror series "The Suitmation Trials."
Appearance[]
In "The Suitmation Trials," Godzilla presents a deeply unsettling and sinister form that diverges from its classic portrayals. This iteration of Godzilla is shrouded in a shadowy, almost spectral darkness, enhancing its eerie and malevolent aura. Its head is marked by a haunting expression, with large, luminous eyes that pierce through the gloom, exuding an otherworldly glow that adds to the creature’s terrifying visage. The jaws are equipped with sharp, menacing teeth, often seen bared in a predatory snarl, emphasizing its aggressive nature.
The creature's skin is an obsidian black, textured with rough, rugged scales that give it a primeval and fearsome appearance. This dark hue allows Godzilla to blend seamlessly into the shadows, making it appear even more ghostly and ominous. The torso is muscular and robust, showcasing the immense strength and power that Godzilla possesses. Running along its back are jagged, prominent dorsal spines that are more pronounced and spiky than in traditional designs, contributing to the creature's fearsome silhouette and suggesting an evolutionary adaptation for both defense and intimidation.
Godzilla's limbs are powerful and thick, ending in clawed hands and feet. The claws are sharp and imposing, designed for both combat and destruction, underscoring the creature's lethal capabilities. The tail is long, muscular, and whip-like, capable of devastating sweeps, serving as both a weapon and a balance aid, reflecting Godzilla's predatory prowess and physical dominance. The overall presence of this Godzilla is one of dread and malevolence. Its movements are deliberate and menacing, embodying a creature that is fully aware of its destructive potential. The shadowy form and glowing eyes create a spectral image that is both captivating and horrifying, perfectly suited for the analog horror aesthetic of "The Suitmation Trials."
Personality[]
In "The Suitmation Trials," Godzilla is depicted as a sadistic and heartless entity. This portrayal marks a significant departure from his traditional characterizations. The series implies that he murdered the actor inside the Anguirus suit by crushing him to death with the suit's jaws. Furthermore, Godzilla becomes self-aware of his existence within a movie and decides to murder the other actors and crew involved in the film's production. His actions indicate a deeply malicious and cruel nature, showing no remorse or empathy for his victims.
Biogoraphy[]
Instance 1[]
Godzilla makes his first appearance near the end of the initial video, creating an eerie and unsettling atmosphere. He asks the viewer if they are alone while the camera ominously zooms in on his eye. This chilling scene concludes with Godzilla declaring that the viewer is no longer safe, establishing the menacing tone of the series.
Instance 2[]
In the subsequent video, Godzilla's brutality is further showcased as he kills the actor inside the Anguirus suit. The directors initially believe this horrific act is part of the film, which Godzilla finds darkly amusing. He displays no remorse for the murder and instead uses it to further intimidate the viewer, warning that he will escape and target them as his next victim. This sequence highlights Godzilla's sadistic pleasure in causing fear and suffering.
Instance 3[]
The third instance sees Godzilla reflecting on his past actions while swimming in the water. He nostalgically recalls his first experience in the water, which contrasts with his current sinister intentions. He declares that the suit actors deserved their fate, implying that he has killed multiple individuals involved in the film's production. Godzilla concludes by revealing that he is waiting for the viewer in the forest, maintaining a constant sense of dread and impending danger.

Trivia[]
- Godzilla later inspired another analog horror series, "The Man in The Suit", and later inspired the creation of the Godzilla ARG.
- Most fan videos for TMiTS always slap the quote "Are you alone" from the Suitmation Trials' Godzilla on the Man in the Suit, hinting a possible connection between the two horror Godzillas.[2]
- Godzilla was originally part of "The Man in The Suit," but the creator unknowingly removed his image and re-uploaded the video with a new one upon a request by SMT themselves.
- This version of Godzilla is often mistaken for The Man in The Suit.
- He has a history of killing, solidifying his role as a dangerous and lethal antagonist.
- He is similar to The Entity from Wes Craven's New Nightmare; as they are both demonic entities trapped in a movie franchise by their creators (Ishiro Honda and Wes Craven), both take on the forms of the most iconic characters in their franchise (Freddy Krueger and Godzilla respectively), both are the main antagonists of their stories, and both seek to escape the movie world to rampage in the real world.
- He is depicted as an otherworldly entity, adding a layer of supernatural horror to his character.
- The boots in Scent. were not Godzilla's feet and are likely the main character.
- According to the creator's official Twitter, if Godzilla were to be shipped with anyone, it would only be acceptable with Jerma. This led to a 'canon' ship edit by the creator.
- "The Suitmation Trials" began as a shitpost, highlighting the series' unconventional and experimental origins.
- The creator initially used rarevision but has since ceased using it.
- "The Suitmation Trials" was featured in a Godzilla Cringe video by Erickzilla 1999, gaining wider recognition and acclaim, and was well known for Erickzilla himself laughing and joking at SMT's work.
- On September 30, 2025, a video was posted to Internet Archive titled "Everything Wrong With GODZILLA CRINGE: The Boring & Cliché Godzilla Analog Horror", where it debunks what Erickzilla says.[3]
- The creator stated that Rizz does not work on Godzilla, who will instead eat you, adding a humorous yet dark twist to the character's persona.
- The “Suitmation” part of the series has a different, unrevealed reason, adding an element of intrigue and mystery.
- In this series, Godzilla is not a man in a suit but a separate entity altogether, distinguishing him from traditional portrayals.

- On April 1, 2025, OmegaJira, the creator of the Suitmation Trials announced on Twitter/X that it was believed the series was officially cancelled, and that the creator will be going onto working on a new series titled "The Pulgasari Tapes".[5] However since it was released on April Fools it is hard to tell if it was true or a joke since it was released on April 2 for others in other timezones,[6] making it unclear on the status of the series.
- It would be confirmed OmegaJira still working on them as reason for lack of uploads is being busy confirming that the series will be back up soon as a result of Omega helping the work on Suitmations for Pillar Chase 2.[7]
