The Goliatron is the largest type of destructive robot built by Gray Mann under his army and one of the antagonists in the expansive world of Team Fortress 2. It is a massive, towering robot that can launch devastating attacks on its opponents.
Appearance[]
The Goliatron is a significantly gigantic humanoid robot that stands apart from its peers and is estimated to be at a height of 100 feet tall. While it shares many similarities with a typical Soldier Robot, the Goliatron boasts quite a number of features and details unique to it alone. On the back, there are five exhaust stacks instead of one and that is perhaps the most distinctive of all the characteristics of the Goliatron. Not only does this give the robot an imposing appearance, but it also enables it to vent excess heat more efficiently. Its head is the smaller of the two, targeted for weakness so the four incoming missiles destroy it at once. The Goliatron also features a single eye that is blue in color, just like Demoman Robots. This line-of-sight eye either scans the tiniest details around it or shoots out a blue deadly beam of a heat ray from its eye during combat, thus making the machine a formidable opponent on the battlefield. In all, the typical-looking Goliatron is an epitome of power and strength, whereby every element used supplements its capability.
Personality[]
The Goliatron, being a machine, does not have a personality in the traditional sense. However, it could be programmed to exhibit certain traits and behaviors that mimic a personality. For example, the Goliatron could be programmed to be cold and calculating, always analyzing the situation and making decisions based on logic and strategy. It could also be programmed to be ruthless and relentless, never giving up until its mission is complete. Or it could be programmed to be loyal and obedient, following orders without question. Whatever its programmed personality, the Goliatron is a valuable asset to whoever controls it.
It is incredibly destructive and violent. It has a strong desire to cause chaos and destruction, and will stop at nothing to achieve this goal. The Goliatron is relentless in its pursuit of its objective, and will destroy anything and anyone that gets in its way. Being capable of demolishing part of or entire building, it can wreak havoc on a massive scale. As such, the Goliatron is considered a huge threat by both the Mann brothers and the Administrator.

- The Goliatron was created and designed by Steam user OverPovered and was uploaded to the Steam Workshop for Source Filmmaker (SFM), but the optimized version was later added in December 2021.
- The Goliatron is part of the Team Fortress 2 fan community due to resemblance of a Soldier Robot, but it is not part of the official Team Fortress 2 game nor the Mann vs. Machine gamemode.
- The Goliatron was featured in the Source Filmmaker animation video on YouTube as the titular main antagonist.
