I presume you are the one who has been causing all this chaos behind my back. I told Jeremiah that if I shall find you there shall not be a war. However, things have changed lately. I need you to die painfully. I also need to kill Jon Kindy and usurp the emperor. By riding this world of the force once and for all, I shall become the most powerful being.
~ Grand Admiral Wilkins reveals Drilla Mandrex about his ultimate plans

Grand Admiral Butcher Wilkins is a major antagonist of the Star Wars aftermath trilogy, acting as the secondary antagonist of the second installment The Final Journey.

He is the governor of The Outer Rim as well as the supreme commander of The Horde's fleet. He holds a special rank which is higher than both Jon Kindy and General Hoskeath, as he answers to no one but Emperor Durrian himself.

He is a sociopathic and tyrannical warlord who plots to torture people and/or get rid of them and even sign the order to terminate innocents, just so that he could gain more power and rule the entire universe as he seeks to get rid of whoever uses the force so he could become a supreme being. He is also the second archenemy for Drilla Mandrex, despite only meeting her for a short time.

He is portrayed by Peter Weller.

History[]

Grand Admiral Wilkins was a ruthless individual who always dreamt of conquering the world at all costs, and doing terrible things in order to gain more power and leadership. He served The New Horde for many years and he eventually became both the grand admiral of The Horde's Iron Fleet and the governor of The Outer Rim. He was an intelligent sociopath who strongly believed that for power, he must become above the force and show the universe what a true supreme ruler looks like. After General Hoskeath's death star has become an ultimate failure for the faction, Grand Admiral Wilkins is summoned by Emperor Durrian and was tasked to fix this issue and command a newer death star. Hoskeath became jealous of him and saw him as someone who stole his own ideas. Wilkins and Hoskeath met each other inside The New Horde's secret base, and the two discussed issues about the newborn death star. Hoskeath reminded Wilkins that he was the creator of the death star. However, Wilkins replied that Durrian gave him the order to command the death star, and he also added that he has ambitions as a warlord. Wilkins later dealt with Jeremiah Skywalker, who was the only person as powerful as Drilla, and he asked him to bring Drilla if he doesn't want the death star and The Horde to conquer the entire galaxy with brutal methods. Grand Admiral Wilkins then tortures the member of The Skywlakers Drillaq, as he ties him to a bed and the machine drills through his head. Wilkins asked him to tell about his secrets, but because he didn't answer, he got killed. Wilkins also ordered his troops to execute order 903 and terminate many innocent civilians. During this time, Jon Kindy got the order from Wilkins to mutilate a few younglings for The Horde. Millions have died during that incident.

Later, Grand Admiral Wilkins is called for a meeting with both Hoskeath and Emperor Durrian. Hoskeath reported that Wilkins was a traitor, and Wilkins in defence has claimed that he is not planning to betray his allies and that he is only leading The Horde to it's victory against The Skywalkers and their allies. Later, Drilla was sent as a spy by Jeremiah Skywalker to Durrian's mothership, and she eventually reached Wilkins' office as her intentions were to send secret info about the death star's weak spot to The Skywalkers. When she entered the office room, Wilkins has revealed his plans to her and he told her that he intends to rid the universe from the force, so he could become a supreme being and no one will oppose him. Drilla almost kills Grand Admiral Wilkins. However, Jon Kindy enters the scene and starts fighting Drilla, as they even go outside of the room to fight each other.

Wilkins is once again called in by Emperor Durrian, who questions him about his intentions and asks him why he started a war against innocents while they only need to destroy The Skywalkers. Afterwards, Durrian was killed, and Grand Admiral Wilkins technically became in-charge. As the rebel ships started bombing his death star, Wilkins was asked by his lietuants to give orders quickly. However, he ultimately realized that the force is with The Skywalkers, and therefore, he lost the battle. As the death star exploded, Wilkins died and Jon promised to rebuild The Horde under his own leadership.

Personality[]

He is a deceiving, ruthless, heavily ambitious, cunning and sociopathic warmonger, who intends to rule the universe and whatever exists at all costs. He seems to enjoy hurting others and he has no problems with torturing innocent people and he even gave Jon Kindy the order to terminate some younglings. Above all, Wilkins had no sympathy for others. His orders have caused millions of deaths at least, and he showed no signs of remorse, as he only gave up near the end because he realized that The Skywalkers were winning the war easily. Wilkins had the ambition to rid the world from the force, which is obviously his way of becoming the supreme ruler of the entire universe. He wasn't even loyal to Emperor Durrian, as he only used Durrian for his own purposes.

Trivia[]

  • Despite being a lesser threat than Emperor Durrian, he was much more evil and far more dangerous than Durrian ever was. Besides that, Durrian never encountered Drilla on-screen, while Grand Admiral Wilkins became her second archenemy (after Jon Kindy) despite only meeting her for about 4 minutes.
