Appearance[]
Grigori is a tall yet somewhat stocky yellow koopa standing about 6'9, he has a brownish head, a yellow shell and golden cuffs. He also has a four-fang overbite, and he has long blond balding hair. He also has a somewhat long beard.
History[]
Grigori was born in 1468 as the only legitimate son of Griswald Kaiser who he had with his lover Gabrielle O' Conner. Due to his father being an infamous sorcerer, Grigori had access to various things such as magical powers and evil monsters that served as his minions. This would lead him to be known as "The Mad Monk" by many of his peers. He would be sent by Griswald to form an alliance with the royal family by having him seduce Queen Ruby Novgorod. Although, he actually coerced her into a relationship that was rather abusive and dysfunctional. Grigori would eventually be kicked out of the royal family due to his heinous actions and eventually he came to the aid of Griswald and his allies after they were recruited by Lord Voltek to assist in his plans of taking over the kingdom. He also notably served as the subject of a famous folk song that is popular in the Koopa Kingdom which is essentially a rundown of his actions and according to the song, a group of nobles schemed to kill him despite the warnings of Griswald, but after the arrival of Grigori who was completely aware of their intentions during this time. he ended up cursing all of the nobles as punishment for their conspiracy which resulted in all of them dying slow and excruciatingly painful deaths. Grigori and his minion Enigma infiltrated the Koopa Castle with the assistance of another of his minions Huhwhat who posed as a gift of riches for the king that was sent by Griswald going under the false identity of Fedor Novgorod (the father of the queen) which led to the three being sent to the treasure vault. Grigori started his attack on the castle from the inside in order to weaken the king's forces and allow for Voltek and his forces to have an easier fight and higher chances at winning. After they were discovered by Ruby, Grigori had Enigma's colony overpower her and then stuff her inside of Huhwhat's chest in order to prevent themselves from being exposed. Grigori started to murder guards who were unfortunate enough to encounter him during his raid in the castle. In order to make hiding easier, he disguised himself in a cloak and mask and he went by the name of "Rasputin Kreiger" while Enigma hid on top of his head. He claimed that his house was driven to near extinction by Voltek, and he is the only one of his family that is left in order to garner sympathy from the royal family to the point they decided to let him stay with them. However, Ruby later came out of Huhwhat's chest and found Huhwhat himself scavenging for loaves of bread, this led to him being captured but however he refused to give info on why he was in the castle which led to him being locked in his chest which was locked in a cell. Grigori later contacted Griswald about the fate of one of his monsters and asked for Griswald's aid. Griswald retaliated by threatening to savage the kingdom in exchange for Huhwhat's safe release in which the king reluctantly complied and Huhwhat was released after a week of the king's attempted resistance to Griswald's orders. Before Ruby had the chance to explain that Grigori was in the castle "Kreiger" gave her wine which drugged her and erased her memories of the encounter. Grigori decided as a reward for himself and Enigma, he declared it was time for "rekindling", but Enigma tells the audience it is not what they think before Grigori orders him to lock the door and moans of pleasure can be heard while sometime afterwards one of the men says it is the other's turn and the cycle repeats until the scene cuts. Grigori continued to pose as an ally to the king until he was eventually exposed during battle after one of the opposing side's guards inadvertently shot an arrow in his foot which caused him to stumble in pain with his cloak falling off in the process, before the guards had the opportunity to attack him, he used his magic to disappear while saying the Koopa family will die. Grigori and Enigma eventually retreated back to Kaiseria after they were exposed and continued to assist Griswald in his own schemes. During Griswald's attack on the Koopa Kingdom during the final battle as Giga-Kaiser, Grigori came to his father's aid with the "Enigmech", a giant robot-like formation made from many of Enigma's colony with Grigori himself hiding in the "torso" and Enigma himself posing as the head, however both titans were defeated eventually despite their formidable power which resulted in them fleeing. During the events of the Krum Wars, Grigori returns as a supporting villain where he continues to aid his father in his schemes this time, with Griswald helping the Krum family take over the Koopa Kingdom. After the death of Olaf Krum, who was the ruler of the kingdom during this time before his death. Grigori himself hoped for the end of the Koopa family due to him despising them for the trouble they constantly caused for him and his father throughout the years. After the death of Griswald, Grigori became the new count of Kaiseria in which he tried to destroy the Koopa dynasty numerous times, Grigori managed to evade capture despite his aging, and he eventually buried himself near the kingdom's grounds claiming that he shall curse the place where he shall rest and died peacefully in his sleep, his monsters were also eventually rounded up and sent to different parts of the world in order to stop them from forming further coups. Grigori's curse is believed to have materialize in the form of an undead version of him, his own father, and his scholars haunting the kingdom.
